agree with Axem's rankings. I don't think X2 is a weak game, but I can't see a meme character with a few seconds of screen time having strength. For Mulan I'd consider mid fodder if not for the upcoming movie.

CD-i Link I will say is Fodder Line - high fodder and low midcarder are probably viable as well. He's a complete joke of a character, but he is still LINK. Also pretty much every line he has in FoE is a meme. I can't wait to bomb some Dodongos!

Jessie I also say is Fodder Line. She's been in just about every episode of the anime and is easily recognizable. Her banter with James and Meowth provides a lot of the show's comedy, and she also has TJF to an extent. She is definitely a nostalgic character for the site demographic.

Shadow I say is Mid Fodder. He doesn't seem especially popular among the FFVI cast and I don't think his design will get him many votes, even though he avoids looking particularly bad in his Amano art.

Unfortunately Frank is going to be Low Fodder. He looked pathetic in 2013, and it doesn't seem like Dead Rising 4 will have helped him at all since then.

Mid Fodder for Sekiro. Going by the end of year polls Sekiro was the 3rd most popular game of 2019 on the site. However I don't think too many people care for Sekiro as a character, as opposed to liking his game. He does look cool at least.

Red Bird was probably low fodder back in 2013, and honestly, who will care about Angry Birds in 2020? LAW Fodder.

Soap is Low Fodder - he's a CoD character who was barely Mid Fodder when he was new.

Farfetch'd is High Fodder for being such a joke of a Pokemon that it's a meme. The leek-wielder is incredibly memorable despite being useless in battle, and the introduction of SirFetch'd made its prevo relevant again.

High Fodder for I-Block, barely. Based on the strength nosedive L-Block took in CBX, I can't see a new block doing that well. However I think it will end up pretty close to L, since it is the "best" block in Tetris.

Edelgard I will put at High Fodder. Her reception in Three Houses seems to be pretty mixed, but she has the benefit of being a "main" waifu with an appealing design from a recent game Gfaqs really likes. I do think she will fall to mid fodder over time though.

Makoto I will give Mid Fodder, because while Persona 3 isn't as popular as 4 or 5, fans of the game tend to absolutely LOVE it and I think most of them will unconditionally vote for its protag. The fact that he appeared in Mii costume form in Smash Ultimate gives a bit of a recognition boost too.

Faris I agree with Low Fodder on. She's in a niche FF game and doesn't have any good pics to use, and I don't see her overcoming that.

Agree with Fodder Line for Suicune. It was the box legendary of Crystal and is a very popular Pokemon - arguably more popular than Lugia.

Morgana I say is Mid Fodder. I think the "go to sleep" thing is more of a meme than a legitimate reason people don't like Morgana. Most people dislike Morgana due to his plot actions around the halfway point of the game, and I can see people who never played up to this point still liking Morgana due to his design and "Looking cool, Joker!" Plus he actually appears alongside Joker in Smash, so he has some recognition outside of the fandom.

Agree with Mid for Sabin and Claude based on metalmind's reasoning. Also agree with Low Fodder for Barkley (he'd be in consideration for law fodder without Shut Up and Jam).

However I disagree with the low rankings for Makoto on the basis that I don't think Joker's performance in CBX is very representative of the character strength of Persona 5. It is somewhat of a tired argument, but the fact that he appeared without his Joker costume and with the unofficial name of Ren Amamiya hurt him quite a bit I think.

I will give Makoto High Fodder. I think it is very telling that most fans of P5 actually like Makoto; most non-main Persona characters cap out at mid fodder due to divisive opinions among the fanbase, but Makoto doesn't have to worry about that. She's also #1 waifu and has a lot of memorable moments in the game.

That said Morgana IS divisive, so nominate him for re-ranking.

Rosa is a character I think most of Gfaqs will be apathetic about; even among FFIV fans. But her official art will allow her to benefit from TJF, so I think she makes Mid Fodder.

Thrall - I mean if even Arthas is low fodder nowadays, then I don't see how Thrall would be worth anything. He looked like Mid Fodder at best in 2013, even taking a bad pic into consideration. Low Fodder for him.

Agree with Mid Fodder for Milla and Low Fodder for Sazh. The Xillia games and Milla were popular, but Milla has had her spot as the stripperific Tales protagonist co-opted by the more popular Velvet. Sazh was probably more popular before FFXIII came out than after. I don't think anyone cared for him in the XIII series.

Eevee though I will say is a Low Midcarder. Eevee and its evolutions are incredibly popular, and have been since gen 1. It's ability to evolve into many different forms is unique even to this day, and gives it the ability to fit in any team of Pokemon. And it is really, REALLY cute. Eevee was popular enough to be the mascot of Let's Go alongside Pikachu - I see Eevee having enough to jump the fodder line.

I'll give Fawful Mid Fodder. He didn't look terrible in 2013, considering he was placed in the same 3 pack as Freaking Mario. I can definitely see Gfaqs still caring about him somewhat, even today. He's a super meme-able character too.

Ivy I think is High Fodder. If you've played a Soul Calibur game, you will know who Ivy is. Her dominatrix-like personality, amazingly stripperiffic design and TJF make her very memorable, and is probably more popular than Nightmare on Gfaqs due to that. Her sexuality is in your face enough that I think it will give her a boost in strength comparable to the size of her assets.

Agree with Mid Fodder for Hero. I think just being a DQ hero gives him some legitimacy along with smash thanks to the series association. Also the designs of all the DQ heroes are similar enough that any of them could likely beat bad fodder at the very least.

Mid Fodder on Snoopy. Gfaqs isn't really the place for Peanuts characters to do well, but I assume most people have seen the Christmas and Halloween specials, and the series is still coming out with new movies to this day. I also think Snoopy can benefit some from the "cute animal" boost.

Ditto I don't think is a particular popular Pokemon, but it is well-known for being the best BREEDER in the games. It's also got a cute face that memorably appeared on all the transformations of the "flawed" Ditto in the classic anime ep. I'll say High Fodder.
