Yeah, that's why I'm not fond of it. Even mine was pretty easy and that was quite some time ago, even had to stop for a school bus dropping off kids as a bonus.

Only negative/comment I got was that I needed to work on my parking. Well, I pulled into the space fine and the instructor basically told me to keep going until running into the sidewalk. Had the front end all over the walkway. It wasn't even a parking chock, just a small lip of the sidewalk. I was very confused when she told me to keep going a few times. Hmm, passed at least.

After seeing some of the maroons behind the wheel over time, it concerns me when they finally remove the driving portion of the test. They're still keeping the written part, but making it so parents can sign something claiming they've driven with the learner's permit enough to skip the driving portion. Gonna happen this or next year. Not sure if other states have done it, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Take some military funding and put it towards education.
Stop coddling prostitutes in jail and give condoms/stuff to help stop spreading diseases so much. Helps with health care... maybe, probably still gonna mess that up by spreading STDs and babies enmasse.

At least those would be attainable/feasible. "Give us free stuff while letting us run wild" seems like a great way to be shot down and distract from actual issues that could be sorted.

I still find it fascinating carpet beetle larvae are almost twice the size of an adult. I've come across quite a few over the years. They don't really do anything, but they love roaming the dust and fibers of stuff.

Though this does remind me I need to check and see if the trapjaw ants are still in the yard. I suspect yes, but haven't seen em since before it got cold last year.

Oh yeah, seeing this also reminded me that I found a nice big fat jumping spider yesterday. It's one of the ones I've allowed to roam the house because it doesn't bother anything. It must have been hunting/feeding in a window. It's easily an inch in diameter, maybe a hair over. Either way the thing I found a bit creepy is how it had such good vision. It was tracking me and my arm nearly 3 feet away. Turned to look at me a few times "I see you looking at me"

I've literally seen people get upset when it's used to refer to engine braking, as if you're insulting the engine's intelligence or something. Then again they're relabeling so much and there's new terms/slang almost every week.

Still think my favorite is when repeatedly I'd get teamed up on and punched in the stomach. So one day I socked one in the mouth hard enough to dislodge a tooth. They then proceeded to try and tell on me. I managed to slip on out. Those two stopped.

Just another damn thing they want to control/get rid of. Next it's the video games, car, and balls.

Oddly enough, prior to my parents getting me an N64 for Christmas in 97, the only console we had in the house was a Sega Genesis.

So it was my first experience with a video game console lol

I know 2 of my cousins had one, just the genesis, not saturn. I don't remember anyone in school having either, but then again they were probably hiding it.

I don't know if I even knew the saturn was a thing at the time, until near the end of its run.

PS1 and N64 yes... Saturn? No

Even the Genesis was like that, just weird?

I do remember seeing them in the store and lusting for Vectorman once, because I couldn't play it.

I think the problem is that what you've called "a certain way" requires a massive massive amount of bad faith actions by black people in power, over the course of dozens if not hundreds of years, with all that we know about racial supremacy in hindsight, and not to mention given our massive ability to communicate globally these days versus a few hundred years ago.

What I'm saying is if this is for someone currently on the table as "a concern" in the current year of our dog 2020 with regards to racial justice, then there's a very active imagination being put into use.

Oh no, I didn't mean to direct it at anyone like that. I just meant if we follow a theoretical path of just rewarding people for the sake of being black and punishing those that are white (this seems to be the mindset/goal of some) it could just tip to the opposite end of the scale. It'll essentially be the same mess, but opposite. Maybe not to the point of chains, but some other way.

I doubt it'll happen or go that far, but it feels like some want it... when that's not really equality.

I agree things need to change, but not so sure about some of the methods.

Saying there can't be black supremacy is about as shortsighted as saying only white people are racist.
Hell, I've seen asians and eastern europeans hate on each other for being descendants from neighboring places oceans away.

I wouldn't say that... They are more like rivals, if anything. They aired the same year (1998) and people compare them a lot because of their similarities (ragtag group going on space adventures). Both are good in their own way though.

Like I said, I never really got into it outside of seeing a few episodes, but could see how it fills that void. If that's the case of them being rivals then that doesn't surprise me.

This reminds me of how I've still got a thing for Outlaw Star.

It was just the perfect time/theme/setting/etc I guess. Haven't really cared for much else, but apparently Cowboy Bebop is essentially it's reincarnation/spiritual successor. I haven't watched enough Cowboy Bebop, but from what I've seen I can definitely sense it.

Not that, rather the vet actually knew back then. They might have just as well busted it open and realized 'wait' midway through.

My dad misgendered the neighbor's cat... kept calling it a her, even the neighbor said it was a him and it has a male name. So my mom said 'well, maybe they just don't know'

It was a neutered male, took me like 2 seconds when it rolled over. Apparently my dad thinks cats are like dogs. Then this lead to a few weeks/months of 'well, maybe the people who own the cat don't know what it is" and even after explaining it being a he, he kept calling it a she.

Then again this reminds me of that story my mom told, where they took a cat in to get spayed when it was a he, because the friend who has a cat identified it as a she and thus knew those things. Thankfully the vet explained this and they had to give it a different name.

I suppose there's worse things than not being able to sex a cat... but sheesh.

They feel like one of those weirdo weapons you almost never see and if you do it's probably wrong.

I've had experience with a terrible owner... it absolutely baffles me at how much of a fail some can be.

Over the course of like 2-3 years, they'd always let it just be outside at all hours of the day/night, even barking at someone in their own house across the street at 3-4 am, bare in mind the barking started at like 9-10pm. If you lived in any of the 8 or so houses near them it'd come running out of the door and come to confront you 60-70% of the time you tried to exist. I once sneezed indoors and heard it start barking and cross the yards to come bark at this house for a while.

Owners didn't do jack, just said 'oh she's just protecting' and smile. ... Funny thing is the dog went missing and was only found because someone on FB put out a notice. It was infested in fleas and they said they didn't know how to deal with em. Oh, I don't know... maybe flea treatment? Then they let it piss indoors or locked it up.

Some people really can't handle it...so they let everyone else enjoy their pet. Speaking of which, there's currently a dog roaming around leaving landmines in everyone's yard.

Not gonna lie, it looks like it was warped from water damage or something... seriously.

I suppose in the pursuit of looking flashy it's ok... but idk, feels like someone really loves the imperial ships from Elite: Dangerous and decided it must look that way.

I knew something was off/different, but was too busy to narrow it down.

This and a few other things I'm not sure why they do. Some of the changes/additions are neat and even be switched on/off... but this seems weird/unneeded.
