I wish someone would have the courage to make a list with games that no one has ever heard of since it is much more likely they are the worst games.

whats courageous about criticizing a bunch of games no one cares about created by companies with no notoriety or power?

you need some minimum standard of relevance for this sort of thing, otherwise I can probably find you a thousand games made this year that are worse than the Avengers game.

not including that awful Fast and Furious game does seem like an oversight though

ok none of us were alive in the year 536 so its not really in contention. obviously people are just talking about their own lifetimes

2020 is better than every year before people had toilets and probably worse on average than any of the last fifty years.
the space between toilets and 1970 is probably better or worse on a case by case basis, I dunno.

its definitely historically bad, in the sense that we will remember it in history as a very bad year even if its better than getting killed by a volcano or whatever shit was going on a thousand years ago

youre reading that backward. Not doing the Zote battle at all is what makes the pantheon easier. I think it just doesnt include him in the pantheons if you havent fought him?

was talking to my friend about side quests in the new Assassins Creed being weird, then got to thinking about how there have been so many open world games with so many side quests now it must be very difficult to come up with anything new

then I thought about how many times Ive encountered secret cannibals in games. The first time was probably Fallout 3, and it was pretty cool then

then last year there was Outer Worlds, and I could see it coming from a mile away.

and Red Dead 2 (?) has them

LA is the first one I started up, and yeah, its pretty great to see this classic thing I love remade in this incredible art style. also its nice to play on a system with more than two buttons.

Oh, I went through two discovery queues and it didnt show up.

I dont know if its why Im not seeing it, but I have basically zero Japanese games in my giant Steam library, so theres very little even tangentially related for it to make a recommendation.

I remember very clearly Skyrims release date was 11/11/11, and Uncharted 3 was like within a week or so of that, so those two were easy.

The others all felt vaguely like... maybe this could have been from that year but also just as easily a year earlier or later. I was pretty confident about BL2, AC3, KH3D, and RE6 not being 2011 and about Limbo and Portal 2 being 2011, but it was mostly a toss up beyond that.

I was most surprised by Gears and Duke which I thought would have been a little earlier. I associate Duke heavily with Dead Rising 2 and New Vegas, because it was another game with a bit of a casino theme to its special edition, so I figured it was the same year as them. But no, it was late to the party.

I dont think the phyrexians are going to be a huge part of the set. Its probably just Vorinclex and his posse, presumably brought into Kaldheim by Tibalt doing some shit with that magic sword Theyre probably not going to just destroy the Norse plane immediately, although it would be sort of appropriate to just Ragnarok it.

also I had no problem with the Bolas stuff on Amonkhet. The plane was still plenty Egyptian for me, and he was integrated into the plane in an interesting way. I dont want sets to be like Arabian Nights where its just a straight forward adaptation of the source without really relating to the multiverse at large.

Was that one 80-ish as well? I've seen some being like 65 or so, and some in the upper 90's.

The Mega Man one I got was only $35. Some of them come down on price a bit on Amazon after a while. I generally wouldnt pay more than $50, but the Death Stranding guy was such a silly thing I had to make an exception.

yeah I just beat the game earlier this month and I was thinking about going for the platinum... got up to like 108% completion or something before checking what exactly I still had to do and realizing that even if I could ever beat the Godmaster thing, it sounded like it would be an unpleasant ordeal

the first couple Godmaster trial things I did took like ten minutes each, so this last one that would be all of them combined but harder would probably take over half an hour per attempt and end with a harder version of a boss I already struggled with... no thanks

yes I enjoy it and played a lot of it but also its bad in a lot of ways and broken. Im enjoying it despite itself because I just crave big open world RPGs.

there arent many games that are just straight up Christmas games, its always some kind of DLC add on... Christmas NIGHTS is the only thing I can think of and even that is sort of a pre-DLC DLC
