the statement from the site claims that Facebook has had millions of instances of child porn in the same time span that the site were discussing had like a hundred.
Any website that will let you upload a video file can theoretically have child porn uploaded to it, and the site were talking about obviously would take down anything and ban anyone posting that stuff just the same as Facebook would.

Im a little concerned about the broader implications of this. In their statement, the site says theyre the first to restrict submissions to only verified people, and then they call out a bunch of mainstream social networking sites for not doing that. I hope this isnt the first domino that leads to everyone needing to link their identity to every site.

honestly it seems like theyre right that theyve been unfairly targeted because theyre an explicitly pornographic site and its probably just as easy to spread child stuff on other social media sites, but those sites are probably less vigilant about it than the porn site is. but also I dont know, I havent looked into it yet beyond the public statement the website made.

I dont think Sora is totally out of the question. I dont think theres much reason for Disney to be really stingy with him.
The bigger thing in the way may be that no one at Disney cares enough to actively pursue the deal.

Im trying to think of what other crossovers Disney characters have done lately other than Fortnite, but I keep thinking of stuff that predates the characters being owned by Disney like Yoda in Soul Calibur.

Greninja is in the game and Sheik is kind of a ninja, but I think theres enough room for Ryu to be distinct from them. Neither uses a sword, so thats a big difference right off the bat.

at some point I think all mobile game developers just decided to throw in an absurd $100 option for the hell of it

sure, and theyve ported a few MK characters to Injustice, but I dont think the way they toned the characters down for MK vs DC was very well received and theyd have to go even toned downer for Smash. I dont think theres a version of Scorpion that is appropriate for Smash Bros. while also being up to the quality of depiction weve come to expect from these DLC characters. It would just feel lame.

The description for Gorilla Arms says theyre supposed to help you pry open doors, but they dont appear to actually do that

so thats a bummer

as I play more of the game, im really enjoying it and its super impressive in some ways, but it also feels like it wasnt quite finished. Obviously games plan and cut content all the time, but theres stuff here where it seems like some cutting was done really late in development such that other stuff was designed with the expectation that the thing was there?

I had one mission to stop a cyberpsycho, and to weaken her I was told I could jack into the network and do something to mess with her implants. When I jack in, it just gave me the exact same money hacks that are always there... so I do those, then it exits that screen and somehow doing the money hack weakened her? That cant be how they intended that, right? I feel like they cant have meant for all those jack-in spots to just be for money

why are there even perks to extend the time you have for breaching? The clock doesnt start until you make your first move, so you have all the time in the world to plan. Ive never come anywhere near running out of time.

also sometimes I do some technical ability thing with fuse boxes and I cant tell what its supposed to be accomplishing

and then in the Badlands youre supposed to be fighting these people called the Raffen Shiv (?), but all of them are labeled Wraiths. Whats that about?
and why doesnt Wakako care that Im constantly murdering members of her Tyger gang?
also I think the radio is broken. it seems like almost every time Im in a car the stations are playing the same one song they always play.

I really do like the game, I just keep having these moments where it feels like something is missing or wrong.

I think any MK character is really unlikely for the same reason I never really believed in Doom Guy. You cant represent these characters as accurately and detailed as these third characters tend to be without making them super violent

If you put Scorpion in the game, but you cant give him a fatality or X-Ray attack, then whats the point?

Marathoned through it this weekend, enjoyed it for the most part aside from the small glitches here and there. Almost all were visual and none that really caused anything more than a minor annoyance though so can't complain.

Played through the first time focusing on handguns, gonna try another run as a stabbing-people-only character.

did you just completely focus on the main storyline? Im 30 hours in and I dont think im halfway done with my playthrough, so finishing it in a weekend sounds crazy to me.

heres my pro tip: get two levels of the advanced data mine perk early. Then any time you find one of the terminal things you can jack into you can get like ~$1000 and theres a lot of those things around

now I used my vast fortune to purchase double jump legs and gorilla arms and I feel very cool.
The added mobility of the legs has helped make the game feel a bit more distinct from just being Fallout in a city or whatever. It opens up more angles of approach in any encounter and just makes getting places generally a bit easier.

just in general id say save all your money for cyber body stuff since its expensive and youre unlikely to just find it. Guns, armor, and healing items are everywhere constantly.

synthesis is like the third way path option that always seemed right to me but also its weird and theres some logistical issues about what exactly it means...
the final cutscene shows big leaves with circuitry patterns? so just everything organic is techno now? but if nonsentient organic stuff like a plant got synthesized, did nonsentient mechanical stuff get organic? Are toasters gonna bleed now? It seems a little too much like straight up magic for them to follow up on

but we need Doom. he deserves to be in an actual good movie finally.

hopefully they sort of pull a Homecoming with it and just gloss over all the origin story stuff. Obviously F4 knowledge isnt as ubiquitous as Spider-Man, but weve done it twice already and its not really complex.

Making choices based off the crunch situation seems difficult. Just because we dont hear about Ghost of Tsushima or Doom being crunched hard doesnt mean they werent... theres a real risk of rewarding a studio that was bad too, but managed to avoid being exposes.

I think thats more an endorsement of our robust public options than an indictment of the creator... at least relative to other character creators which tend to be just as limited in the black hair department

although I guess this game could be worse about it than usual, I wasnt really looking for it specifically.

It did have a particularly cool beard customization thing where you could select a beard type and then individually toggle the beard part and mustache part of the beard type.

I didnt realize you cant ever get a haircut, thats hilarious. You can swap out your arms for different arms, but your hair is forever. (this seems like the kind of thing that gets added in a relatively early content pack, but still)

I actually think the character creator is pretty solid. There were a lot of hair options and the faces look pretty much like faces should look. It doesnt give you super detailed control of facial features, but I think its still good.

I would think youd want the people choosing these awards to do so based on the games themselves, not based on whatever dumb thing a developer may have said. I think the issue with Square is that they didnt want Cloud in the base game. They wanted him to be DLC again.
