Since someone told me to get my ass moving, an idea I planned for awhile (similar to my video game one) will finally go ahead.

First of all, this was very difficult to parse ranking-wise. I assure you that any day I do this it would change. I almost assuredly have missed movies that should be on here (most likely). This list is my favorite movies. Not the BEST movies. Don't come in here expecting a top 100 list of all time or some shit... or someone who tries to look superior to others by trying to be elitist and point out how their movie of choice is objectively better. This is completely down to preference. This means there may very well be movies that are objectively bad or relatively considered bad on here. Who cares.

Anyways, there are TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE movies on this list. And, you will all have to guess them all before the end of March to win the game.

There will be a monetary prize.

It will be $70 towards a physical Xbox Game of choice or $50 towards a physical PS5 game of choice, or $50 towards physical movies (in any amount that adds up to $50). You can choose which you want if you win. If it is close, I may let respectable losers claim an unchosen prize after.

THERE ARE RULES.

First of all, you get 2 guesses per hour. The guesses refresh at the :00 mark of each hour. This will ramp up or stay the same depending on how well you are doing with the time limit. The goal is for someone to win of course.

Every day at 0:00 EST (Midnight), you may request up to 2 hints at any point in the day. Each number on the list has 2 hints for it. The first hint will always be the year the movie was released according to IMDB. The second hint will always be the genre of the movie according to IMDB (no matter how it lists it). You can request both hints on the same movie or you can guess a hint each on two different numbers or so on. If your number for the hint was guessed before I updated, I will give the hint to the number below the one you picked that isn't guessed yet.

If you guess a movie correctly with the correct number (aka always guess a number with the movie you guess) you will get 5 POINTS for guessing it correctly. When we are above 200 movies still, I will give you 20 rank leeway on your guess (Example: A guess of 40, and I will give you credit for the correct number if the movie is actually 30-50). If there are 200 or less movies, I will give you a ten spot leeway (Example: A guess of 40 will give you 35-45) for getting the 5 points.

However, this point total will go down for any spot the hint was asked for already.

It is 5 points for a correct movie in the correct slot without any hints for that slot.
4 points for a correct movie in the correct slot with the 1st hint given out for that slot.
3 points for a correct movie in the correct slot with the 2nd hint given out for that slot.
1 point for a correct movie not in the correct slot with any number of given hints out.

With work starting, I am busy. I will not be able to update right away. Keep your guessing up even if I didn't update yet (obviously don't repeat answers). I will do my best to update as much as possible for everyone as much as possible. I may give random non-slot specific hints away at random times if I feel like it. For example, I feel extremely confident there is NOT a single movie before the year 1975 on this list. At least I am pretty sure of that haha.

If you want to ask why a movie on here is on here, feel free. I may respond. Or if you want to question something about the movie feel free. If spoilers, obscure them of course.

This hour counts. Go.

If I make a mistake, tell me. No one is trying to cheat you of anything.

What again does her wage have to do with it? She isn't here to rule on the morality of the minimum wage. She is there to rule on whether the minimum wage can be added to a reconciliation bill. You are arguing that if she didn't do her job properly that she should be penalized financially? Like, how does that even make sense?

Oh look... I guess this is new and exciting. People should stop using twitter and shit.

That said, I don't understand liberals in regards to foreign policy.

Liberals: You shouldn't be in Iraq
Liberals: You can't leave Iraq or you are making it worse
Liberals: Look at the people in Syria. We have a moral obligation to help them from Assad.
Liberals: We shouldn't have attacked Saddam. We are not the world's police.
Liberals: Other countries are committing genocide, and we are doing nothing to stop them.
Liberals: We shouldn't bomb people in Syria.
Liberals: We can't abandon our Kurdish Allies in Syria.

I know this is a clusterfuck of shit, but that's what is so confusing about liberals. They complain no matter what your move is.

So you're saying it's a good idea to just let children freely come and go as they please?
Are you saying people should be able to exploit a loophole easily sending their kids to the border alone? If the child was wandering unaccompanied alone before the border, do you think it is because they just randomly made their way to the border?

And, no, I wouldn't have voted for Bernie over Trump in 2020. In 2016, yes. Not 2020.

Honestly the one-two punch of reopening the exact same children-in-cages detainment facility they did photo ops at and bombing Iranians in Syria is just incredible for how indefensible it is.

Add-in no checks, no $15 minimum wage, the outright rejection of wiping away all student debt, etc, and Jesus Christ its an Awful Governance Done Quick speed run.

Someone tell me Im wrong.

Im not saying Trump would be better, Im asking why you were so convinced this is the best we could get, and how exactly do you think they hold control like this???

If the Dem base just lets this go by and doesnt start shouting as loud as the left, were gonna backslide to worse than Trump in no time
No one else would have beat Trump. You need to come to terms with that. The things you are listing are the reason that Biden could beat Trump. Because Biden was moderate enough to take some of Trump's votes from him. Anyone else loses Georgia and Pennsylvania and Michigan. And that's all she wrote on the election.

It wouldn't be a brownnoser to the academy. That's for sure. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is straight garbage. 1917 was oscar bait also and at the very best okay. Booksmart was just bad.

Since Elizabeth McDonnough, an unelected official, gets to decide that minimum wage is perfectly fine at $7.25/hour, I think that's what her salary should be lowered to, and she should be forced to pay back any back salary over that amount.
You people are ridiculous. Regardless of her decision, she didn't say 7.25/hr is fine for minimum wage. Her job has nothing to do with that. Her job is to decide what should be allowed in reconciliation bills which have strict guidelines. Biden told her publicly it shouldn't be allowed multiple times. It has nothing to do with her opinion on what the minimum wage should be.

You know I just realized that Jojo Rabbit is probably better than any MCU film and that might not even be in my top ten of 2019 so maybe Im like Eddv and cynical

that year was stacked though

Parasite
Marriage Story
Uncut Gems
The Lighthouse
Once Upon a Time In Hollywood
Little Women
1917
Portrait of a Lady
Booksmart

Between Irishman and Jojo huh, might lean Irishman here but both are good for different reasons
You have bad taste in movies.

Biden didn't want the minimum wage increase. It was optics. He literally signalled to the Parliamentarian to block it for him. Just like he doesn't want the school relief and keeps himself saying he doesn't have the power to do it instead of just trying it (with many people saying yes he indeed does have that power).

He is using "lack of power" to rein in the farfetched left ideas while keeping it looking like he is trying.

It's actually shrewd politics, and I have to hand it to him. I was wondering how he was gonna keep his far left neutralized in his corner instead of upsetting them with his more conservative and moderate views.

I always laugh a little when folks talk about how much they enjoy that Cap and Widow were never pushed as romantic partners at all, because up until Endgame's ending I was always very disappointed by that. I absolutely love the chemistry they have in Winter Soldier and I'm quite sure the Russos were definitely teasing it at points in the movie as something that could be pursued in the future.

What we got was a million times better, but in a different universe where the end of the Infinity Saga doesn't include time travel, I do think it would've made for an interesting relationship for both of their characters.

Anyway, my predictions throughout this ranking have been a little dodgy, but at least I had the top two pegged from the beginning. Have to chuckle now at my GOTG writeup where I said I figured it'd be fighting neck and neck with Winter Soldier as the best Phase 2 movie - crazy they actually ended up tied.
They were clearly making Black Widow a seductress. She was flirting with nearly everyone early on.

Because the whole scene with the Ancient One and Banner is all about how alternate timelines are bad and should be avoided. And she literally refuses to help him until he explains his plan for preventing them. But then they end up creating multiple alternate timelines anyway and completely punt on addressing it at all.
It's because they failed at their main mission... And it is out of greed. Their inability to accept what happened motivated them to do something that couldn't turn out right no matter their intentions.

Their intentions were to do so being unseen and not affect anything by taking and returning items to their same points without anynnotice, which I am sure they all knew on the surface was impossible but turned an eye to it because of their again greed to change what happened.

The entire movie is showing how their plan doesn't work at all. Almost every single person involved in the jumps in some way makes a mistake that causes issues. In theory, the Hulk was correct, but in actuality it was never an obtainable result.

The movie explains what it supposed to happen. Unfortunately, the result is alternate timelines being created. It may be nice that Captain America finally got Peggy. But, it was a greedy choice that will have consequences as well and that created another timeline too. Every interaction in the past created a new timeline.

Attack - Retrieve - Capture

A free web browser pvp game that bounced around with TEN and WON for awhile before ending up with Sierra.

It eventually got remade or at least renamed as Armor Critical apparently.

While it seems to be on it's last legs, it still does actually still exist.

Pretty incredible. This is a game I played a lot probably 20 years ago or so.

Ok the SW jalapeo burger was good, I'll give you that. However the thing that replaced it was the pub style melt cheeseburger thing I forgot the name of which fires on all cylinders so your point is moot, bra.
Dunno if my Wendy's has that on their menu yet. Never heard of it.

Wendy's has a new jalapeo popper salad I've been meaning to try. Get that and tell me how it is! Or be fat and boring and get a Baconator with Baconator fries. You can't go wrong with that.
Wendys got rid of the best burger that existed at fast chain restaurants recently. So I am kinda on fuck you status to them right now. Second time they have removed the best burger in existence... first the Cheesy Cheddars... now the Southwest Jalapeno Burger or whatever.
