I mean, she is the breadwinner of the family. When push comes to shove, she should be making the decision when at odds. She supports the household. Making her potentially quit her job and move from a place she loves likelier than not, in my eyes, leads to a likely divorce down the road.

It was a less than ideal but obvious situation. The most ideal situation was turning them back and releasing them back to their own countries. Turning them back to Mexico is what Trump was doing at the end and how he stemmed the issue. What Biden is doing is... "We are going to let you into America if you come! Please don't come though!"

It is a very weak and ineffective policy. The people crossing this border know what they are doing. It isn't exactly rocket science that the moment you announce you will be letting unaccompanied children in, that all the sudden randomly 450 children a day are found alone roaming the border.

I highly doubt children are traveling alone from their homes to our border. Just a hunch though.

Arrests spiked under Biden. More children in centers under Biden at max then at any point under Trump administration. Listed reasons in article if you happened to read it was smugglers emboldened by new policies and word of mouth of those let go into country encouraging others to come due to new policy. (And trump bottlenecked it from happening so much that this was a surge from loosening the bottleneck).

Listen. You can try and debate who is worse. You can do it all day. But, at the end of the day, you were screaming CHILDREN IN CAGES at Trump and are now saying "BUT TRUMP" when confronted about it in regards to Biden. It says a lot about your actual position and actual "outrage" you possess over the situation.

What impact would returning borrowed shares have on the price? Just giving shares back to the borrower wouldn't be a trade that impacts price at all. It's just changing ownership of those shares

That explanation had a lot to say about borrowing happening but then skipped right over the part where it explains how price is impacted and then concluded that it caused the price change.
If you are talking about shorting, the problem with returning borrowed stock is that to short it you have sold your borrowed stock to someone else at the high rate. When it comes time to return the borrowed stock, you are supposed to buy a stock at the new lower price to return the stock you borrowed. Thus netting the money you gained by selling your borrowed stock at the higher price after you deduct the cost of the price of the stock you had to buy after to return it.

If the stock goes up, you are buying at a higher price to return the borrowed stock. Thus, you lost money.

It didn't give anything to my workplace. It gave it to workers upstream who refused to go back to work because of it.

It was broken. If it wasn't broken, I wouldn't have even lost my job. If you are going to break something to make people lose their job, then you should have something for them of ANY sort because they lost their jobs because of a broken federal bill. There was nothing.

Allow me to resolve this situation before it begins:

Hey Corrik, why did you vote for the Democrats?
Because I blame Trump for my job being lost and for the hypocritical nature of how my job was taken.

It started with my largely panned Mnuchin first stimulus deal in which he gave a 600 Federal boost on unemployment. (This was supposed to cap at your wages up to 600, not extend past your normal wages).

In turn, the auto industry shut down for Covid and the union refused to go back to work because of this unemployment boost. They tried twice to restart multiple months in which the union refused (again this wouldn't have happened without this boost making them more money than actually working). It wasn't until the companies said they would have to consider this a strike if it continued and look elsewhere for employment that they finally went back. The damage was done at this point. As a down supplier for the auto industry mainly, the writing was on the wall at this point.

We stockpiled coke on the ground due to the auto industry and with it's shelf life, we had to cut production and then eventually hot idle and lay off due to the fact we were overstocked. So, they lay us all off because of what eventually boiled down to the $600 federal boost being poorly designed. Will that actually be there for the down supply people that got fucked over by the flawed bill? No. Now we will double fuck them and be hypocritical at this point.

Causing a stalemate between Trump and Pelosi, in which they are both at fault for at least SOMETHING at all being passed for the people who got fucked over by the first bill.

What check?

Ushi is right, I got personally fucked over. Basically all downstream layoffs got fucked over. But, I don't know what check I am pissed off about. My Trump animosity started all the way back with the first stimulus deal's broken boost that mnuchin agreed to. It wasn't until later that Graham figured out it was broken that they tried to fix it, but it was too late at this point. It should have never gotten to this point. I can't even blame the auto industry. They got paid more money not to work. That's not their fault. That's the fault of the people who let that happen.

And, I didn't vote for Democrats. I voted for 1(one) democrat who was so moderate and likely to rule from the center on behalf of both sides. He is fine for the most part besides his stupid race/gender pandering shit. Keystone pipeline was dumb too.

Corrik in particular literally only voted against Trump because he started being personally affected. As history shows he is open and proud of his stance that nothing that doesn't effect him directly matters to him in the slightest and he enthusiastically does not care about other people, and all it took to lose his vote was him not getting his check.

So no, keeping their vote doesn't matter, because we don't actually have their vote. They're just pretending.
What check in particular did I lose?

I saw a recent poll that the percentage of americans who thought george floyds death was murder has gone from over a majority to like 26%. Could be misremembering exact numbers, but my point is that propaganda is very powerful and absolutely shapes everyone's opinions. For example, the four countries with the most unfavorable views by Americans are iran, north korea, russia, and china. Seems like pretty obvious media manipulation. Most of what people think is entirely manufactured and the idea that people wanting things to change need to find the right slogan or something is ridiculous. What people like that need is generally for society to catch up with them, and no slogan can outdo media deprogramming. Movements take time! And even then the fake woke politicians and corporations will co-opt it and try to control your energy. Real change doesn't have a magic phrase, it's long brutal and frustrating.
Is it propaganda if more information had come out about it? If anything lack of information surges initial responses. How many thought that one guy was just shot for trying to get into his car because the video was cut off from what happened prior?

You're right, I do recall him showing either Monica or Darcy the footage of her blasting through the glass wall. I'd have to rewatch it, but that part seems odd now.

But again, he still couldn't know Wanda was capable of doing what she did, so I still don't see the logic of where he'd be setting her up for something? And since the show ended without touching up on that, I think it's safe to assume that was never the case. Maybe there was a deleted scene or something that shows what he was doing with White Vision wasn't entirely above board, so he lied about Wanda stealing him to cover it up? Which still wouldn't entirely make sense since he still brought White Vision out anyway. Yeah I dunno, lol.
He doctored the footage from what actually happened to paint wanda as the villain.

She was empathizing with Wanda because she too has grief she couldn't come to terms with in her mother. Wanda acknowledged nothing she could do would ever take the hate for her from them. Rightfully so. However, she didn't have to save them either. She could have kept the facade on forever. She did sacrifice all she ever wanted in the end. Monica simply states she probably would have done the same if she could for her mother. How many would if they had the ability to do so? And recognizes how hard it was for wanda to come to closure and sacrifice it all in the end.

We are perfectly capable of giving our citizens everything and investing (key word) in our country's future health, but we choose to not understand how money works in a global sense.

Mind you there are plenty of places where we can reasonably cut the budget holes that don't harm people in the way that complaining about the debt only when democrats are in office does. For example I'd be taxing people a lot more than what is currently there!

"If it was a clean bill of just $2000 per person, it will be bipartisan"

"What about this item!"

Every last item is pork when talking about a clean bill of $2000 per person stimulus which he stated outright. His point was that it would be bipartisan if they did only that item. Again, he is incorrect on it. However, that is what he stated. You are refusing to respond to what he stated by trying to veer it with extraneous things he already made clear. You do this all the time.

Any last thing attached to $2000 per person clean bill is pork. It doesn't matter if it is $10 to pay for a vaccine or if it is 100 trillion dollars to provide every man with a pure virgin sex slave. Every last thing to a clean $2000 per person bill is pork to that clean bill.

His stance is literally if there was a bill tomorrow that was to send everyone $2000 dollars stimulus, that it would be bipartisan. End of story.

He clearly established pork would be anything that isn't the clean bill of $2000 stimulus checks. Stop acting like you can't understand that. It doesn't matter what else is in the bill regardless of how good or bad it is. He said if the bill was a clean $2000 stimulus to people, it would be bipartisan. He is wrong as far bipartisan goes, but that is what he stated.

The people getting a raise support more money, news at 11. If it was to $40/hr. The public support would be even higher because even more of America is affected.

You can't do everything the public supports feasibly. I am sure we would all like a million dollars tomorrow also if polled. Doesn't mean it is feasible to send out like 330 Trillion dollars or whatever that comes out to.

The movie is about a person who constantly spouts racist comments who endears to those he previously judges poorly towards based on race, primarily by the good will of those he is making racist comments against. His racist comments as the film goes on lose their weight and become sort of a parody of themselves and just out of harmless humor than intent which they started from. It is a good movie. If anything it is a movie that speaks to you don't fight hate with hate, but you fight hate with kindness and make them see the error of their ways on their own.

If you want to call it racist, then so be it. You can easily find the angle to do so. However, it is like calling American History X a racist movie.

How about why Rocky IV is such a favorite? Not that theres something wrong with it
The rocky series goes IV > I > 2 > 6 > 3 > 5

IV has the best music. The best dynamics. East vs West. Fighting for literally America at insurmountable odds at heart despite also nothing to fight for besides his friends honor. No money. No belts. Pure grudge.
