I looked up a few of the uncensored pictures. Most of them are fine since it's with the eyelid attached, though it's very mangled and discolored. But there was one picture with no eyelid at all, and it's just this bloodshot huge eyeball starring into your soul with no lid to ever moisten itself.

If you have a common cold please wear a mask out in public, yes.
Sure, but the point I was making with that is that if you are going over the top with wanting to protect people, you have to be wearing a mask all the time, because the contagious period of many contagious viruses precedes symptoms, the common cold included.

You made a lot of good points between both posts and I appreciate the respectable response. I don't have much to add, as you are very well read in it. I have no issue with people wearing or not wearing masks at this stage, as I think both sides have reasonable points. I just think now is the first time where people have no reason to be upset at either types of people for choosing their option.

Or you pass it to someone with a compromised immune system, they don't build antibodies and then die.
While it's good to look out for your fellow man, you really have to wonder where to draw the line on this kind of thinking. Do you wear a mask for the rest of your life because of people with an even worse immune system who could be killed by your common cold? Do you never drive a car again because you might cause an accident? Avoiding any kind of disagreement with people in real life and online because of the possibility of them having a mental condition where they do harm to themselves? I understand the mentality of wanting to look out for people...but it gets to a point where it's impractical and you really can't live your life in any realistic manner if you let it get to you. I think it's just better to follow the general scientific guidelines that are being established for a society to function again, rather than one's own interpretations.

Even if I'm unvaccinated, if I'm masked, then people can trust that I am taking them seriously and keeping their safety in mind. If I'm unmasked, then I'm a total wildcard. It could indicate that I'm a nice person who's vaccinated, or it could indicate that I'm an asshole who's putting them at risk.
While there are certainly parts of the world where there are people who want vaccinated, yet can't get it yet, that doesn't apply to most of the US (and that's only going to become more and more true). So the people you are perceiving in your mind as being afraid of you for not wearing a mask are mostly going to be people who have actively chosen not to get the vaccine. Everyone I know in real life who doesn't have the vaccine has chosen that they don't want it for various reasons. I'm not saying my life experience here is the same for everyone...but I'm not even in one of the top states, and is true for me.

Why would anyone wear a mask if they're vaccinated other than to virtue signal?
On one of the first days of the mask mandates being removed, I went out with some friends (all of us vaccinated). Place we went to had a sign that masks were not required for vaccinated people. Probably about 30% of the people were wearing masks. Our group, since vaccinated, were not wearing masks. Someone in our group said, after being inside for about a minute, "wow, it feels nice to not wear a mask anymore", and I, in a very sarcastic and obviously joking voice said, "yeah, but careful, if you don't wear one, people will think you voted for Trump", and she said "Good point" and put her mask on. I thought she did it just to punctuate my joke...but she left it on for the full 1.5 hour we were there...

Every lightsaber scene is horribly choreographed. There isn't a single one in the series that looks like people honestly trying to kill each other.
Pretty much. Too many movie fights look like both parties are just aiming their sword at their opponents sword (or where their opponents sword will be) over and over with no actual effort like they are trying to hit each other. No real counterplay. No normal flow.

That's why the sword fight duel at the end of Rob Roy is one of the most beloved in movie history, because it looks like they are trying to kill each other. No music. Realistic pauses in between strikes.

Monopoly is just not really a good game for adults because of many of the reasons state. As an adult, it's much easier to find games with more critical thinking and strategy, and if that's not your forte, there are still better party and luck based games out there that generally have a more consistent "feel good" atmosphere and don't take near as long.

As a kid, I think Monopoly is perfectly fine. It gives kids a stab at a different kind of genre over what many of the other kids games represent, and if they take a liking toward it, they will find many better games.

I can respect Monopoly as an important gateway game, but I don't find it very appealing to play anymore.

While this might be in jest, it is part of the job. When someone has a networth of $25 million+ like Naomi does, a bulk of that is thanks to sponsors and prize money (also due to sponsors). It's a media circus from the start. If you want to get absurdly rich without giving back to the circus that put you there...I don't know what to say.

From what it sounds like the new Spider-Man attraction is going to be a "game" ride, like the Toy Story ones, where you can compete for points. If you actually cared about that it would suck to not do as well if you don't buy the add-on toy. Also, it's 65 freaking dollars in total.
So if you are riding with your son or nephew and he has one, he gets to rub in your face that he beat you. And if not, you are on an even playing field. The horror!

I guess I just don't understand the difference. In both scenarios, you pay for entry into the park, have access to all of the free features because of it (attractions, shows, interactive environments, etc), but are being denied a small bonus feature that doesn't detract from the full experience.

I'm not a fan of this being a thing mind you, because it will quickly escalate into a situation where it will definitely deny features that are important later.

Spider-Man ride?

After a (very quick) skim, it looks it's a device that lets you shoot more things in a virtual interactive ride? I don't really see what's wrong with that. Didn't Universal have those Harry Potter wands that interact with different things in the park? I'd argue that is worse.

Sure, they are trying to find a way to make more money, but it's not hindering the fun of the people who don't have it.

I'd argue in the case of the Harry Potter wands, you'd see things that simply do nothing (which is worse). In the Spider-Man ride, you still get to shoot everything...you just can't multi-shoot or something, which most people probably wouldn't even know about?
