It's just a view some people hold"Democrat" is not a "view". It's a political party. Views are multifaceted and different for every person. "Democrat" can be interpreted to be as reference to their party's platform, but that's more a series of goals that a bunch of people in charge of said party have agreed to seek. At the end of the day, declaring oneself independent doesn't tell you anything of substance about the person. I've only ever really see anyone declare themselves independent (or moderate, or centrist) in cases where they wished to hold themselves in higher esteem over those they view suckered in by the political parties, regardless of whether that's honestly true or not. --- CyricZ He/him |

We were talking about consent (as a broad topic) and I brought up the established concept of teaching kids consent from a young age, which is to say, the idea of giving someone permission before being touched in any capacity, whether it be a high-five, a handshake, a head pat, a shoulder pat, anything directly physical. Teaching kids that when they're young allows them to recognize when certain touching is not okay, either by their fellow kids or by adults, and gives them power to deny that or report that. This has been going on in multiple schools at varying levels for a while now. A person on that server (who I'm retrospectively guessing was Tails), accused me of being a pedophile for "suggesting that kindergarten kids be taught about sex". It escalated and he got tossed, which was at the discretion of Calypso, being the admin. I didn't personally demand anything. Not that anyone really needed any additional evidence that Tails has some serious issues, but that was an interesting trip down memory lane for me, and is the only incident I can recall where I was involved in someone being removed from that Discord. --- CyricZ He/him |

Like finding Kraid's lair requires you to Super Missile an unassuming wall. Also the controls are loosey-goosey. Slippery I'd almost call them.
