i went there for dental work
i was supposed to be put under but it didnt quite work and just like my last wisdom tooth removal i felt everything
but the doctor was really quick and got the thing out in like a minute so i suffered but not for very long

there is a glitch where if you save before the final boss and then make a save at the start and then do some shenanigans the game will get confused and give you all the dragoon spirits right at the start so you can transform whenever you want
the divine dragoon spirit will take the red dragoon spirits place as darts default Dspirit

ff7 and 8 basically take place in the modern world just fantasyfied
basically ff7 and 8 are like what the 1990s would look like in the FF4 universe once it got out of the medieval ages

there was an old ps3 game that was an early launch title called heavenly sword
it was a solid game but rather basic but its plot is that the heavenly sword must never be used and anyone who wields it will die in 3 days

so the game takes place over the course of 3 days and at the end of those 3 days the protagonist dies because she used the heavenly sword

Shana can beat the divine dragon in 3 turns by herself
of course by that point shana is actually replaced by miranda but they have identical stats so gameplay wise there is no difference between shana and miranda

can we all agree that as a character miranda is awful?

you get an attack item that does not disappear after use but can only be used once per battle
when thrown by shana this instant kills any random encounter in the game and even takes a decent chunk of health off bosses

but yes shana and meru both struggle in random encounters in the early portions of the game but both magic is so high that no matter the point of the game both will be able to deal tons of damage to bosses with magic items

haschel is almost as fast as meru and shana so he gets multiple turns as well and albert/lavits has the great support skill flower storm. his big weakness is his magic defense but at least he is faster than kongol

dart shana and meru is the best team
meru and shana are the 2 strongest party members and dart has to be there

in terms of whose best it probably goes

1. meru
2. shana
3. haschel
4. albert
5. dart
6. rose
7. kongol

I always used rose and Kongol and the game is easy. Equip Kongol with a Legendary Casque and he pretty much can't be killed.

waste of resources
anything you give to kongol to make him good could be given to someone else to make them great
also money grinding takes awhile and legend casques cost like 10000 gold which takes awhile to grind for and those 10000 equips are intended to be game breaking and not really a must have. they are for people who struggle in the game and want it to be easier

I remember being amazed that you could swap out Tidus in FFX (albeit hes always the on-screen character).

I guess its because in old JRPGs only the characters in your immediate party was were with you and the rest of the party were all hanging out in town. With exceptions like FF6 and Chrono Trigger.

You couldnt make story cutscenes work without the main character.

It wasnt until the 2000s with games like FFX where the entire cast is almost always together as a whole.

legend of the dragoon didnt alter cutscenes based on your party set up
everyone was present for the cutscene moments so it was an early game where taking dart out could have worked just fine

the game should have let you take dart out of your party and walk around as the other characters
literally on disk 2 during the boat ride you get to walk around the ship once as every character showing that they animated all the motions for the characters to all be able to interact with the world
but they dont let them

thunder and void should have been weak and strong against each other
i mean the game has 8 elements but 2 of them arent strong or weak against anything

also the special transformation where all 3 characters change at once and the battlefield changes color based on who used the special command actually does something the game doesnt tell you
it raises the damage done by characters/enemies of that element but weakens the damage dealt by characters of the opposite element
so if you use special with shana then shana gets a power boost but rose becomes weaker until the special wears off

since dart has to be in the party then if you use meru you will always weaken one of them if you use their special group transformation

it bothers me that doel is purple when he is in dragoon form but haschel looks pink
overall doel looks cool as a dragoon while haschel does not

yes her attack potential is higher because her final addition has an insanely high damage modifier
that combined with her having the highest speed also gives her more turns so if say dart does 1000 HP damage with 1 attack while meru only does 700 damage with 1 attack but she gets 3 turns for every 1 turn dart does then she is really doing 2100 damage in the same time it takes for dart to do 1000 damage
and she gets like 7 turns for every 1 turn kongol gets

no, each disk has its own plotline it has to resolve before it ends
disk 1 is all about the serdian war so until you resolve that then the disk doesnt end
you are close to the end of disk 1 though
when you go to a new nation you know you are on the next disk

he has a ton of HP and a lot of defense
unfortunately he is slow as molasses and his magic defense sucks at a point in the game where bosses start spamming magic attacks which will go through his HP like butter

Kongol actually can be a beast if you give him the Bandit Ring and Bandit Shoes, but that's a lot of investment when you want Dart to have at least one of those.

yeah but if you give those things to a better party member they become even better
so you can give them to him and make him good or give them to someone else to make them great

i switch my team after every boss battle but but my favorite to use are meru and kongol cause blue and yellow are my favorite colors

oh just should remind you in case you forgot or didnt know that as soon as you get kongol in your party go back to lohan to get his dragoon spirit from the merchant who sold you something earlier
you can get his D spirit right after he joins you
and if you dont get it at lohan you dont get it in the story until the very final dungeon

thats meru. she is the most powerful party member due for a few reasons

• she is the fastest party member so she gets like 2 or 3 turns more than everyone else
• her magic stat is almost as good as shanas so you can have her throw items for massive magical damage as well
• and her final addition has a 600% damage multiplier making her do massive damage as well as getting more turns than anyone else

shana isnt useless though
in fact she is the second most powerful party member
you just have to use her a completely different way than you do anyone else
those attack items deal damage based on your magic stat
shana has the highest magic stat
she will destroy anything just by throwing items at it
she is also like the second or third fastest party member. i cant remmeber if haschel is faster than her or not
and speed is good cause it leads to extra turns which is one of the reasons meru is the strongest party member

cube is a canadian classic and there is some misinformation about survivors in this thread but i understand as the sequels sucked. but ill explain about cube "survivors"

cube 1 had the mentally handicapped man survive

then cube 2 had a woman escape but its then revealed she was working for the cubes creators to get something out of the new cube and with her job finished she gets shot in the head

then in cube 3 is ruins the end of cube 1 by revealing that people who make it out of the cube are burned alive so the survivor from the first movie died during the credits we just didnt know about that. this movie did have someone actually escape and survive but its a movie best left forgotten

serah has it pretty bad to
finds the love of her life only to get chosen to be a lcie which means she will either turn into a horrible monster if she fails her mission or turn into a crystal statue if she succeeds in her mission but either way her fiance is going to be left alone. and then when she was saved from this horrible fate her sister just vanishes and she is the only one who notices because she was spared having her memory changed which just made her seem crazy to other people. then she goes on a big adventure to find her sister only to die once she completes her quest and to make matters worse losing to her was part of the villains plan so by defeating him she helped him succeed making her death a waste

the wayward sisters backdoor pilot episode was actually really well received by the audience and had the ratings to get picked up but the CW decided to not get in in favor of either the charmed remake or legacies i dont remember which one they chose over it

and then claires actress kathryn newton suddenly blew up career wise and became to big of a star for a CW show so the character never returned :(
