I dont know if it was the theatre I saw it at, but the screen was very dark, and the sound system wasnt great and some characters I could only understand like half of what they were saying. Ive read the book multiple times though so I understood what was happening. Despite those problems I loved it.

So all the controversy over BDSP being 1:1 remakes more or less. Why are people surprised and upset? When BDSP were announced, they were pretty clear on them being faithful remakes. Megas and dynamax and whatever else were never going to be in the game, and this was obvious from the first trailer. Why is anyone surprised?

Productive evening! Finished all the Crystalline Mean questlines and the capstone quest. And then I finished the followup questline to the Shadowkeeper questline, which I didn't even know about. I was just in the vicinity and saw there was a level 80 quest from that NPC and was like "Oh?". So that was cool. Then I farmed Memoria for a bit and got some dyable gear. And I even managed to do a little more inventory management on the side.

GS is my favorite. Took RBY and perfected them. I also really like XYORAS. It's the generation I've probably put the most time into, but that's mostly because of all the shiny hunting I've done in those games.

I'm looking forward to BDSP, but Endwalker comes out the same day, and that's gonna have to take priority. I'll probably get Pearl for Christmas.

Edit: Oh and my favorite Pokemon are Meowth and Goodra

They turned the economy back on without fixing the duping issues XD They just basically put a meter on duping and said "if you dupe more than this unspecified amount you will be instantly banned" that's not a solution. Dupers will just figure out that value, dupe to just under it, take all the gold off, and repeat. How are they THIS incompetent? Can they even identify and fix the issue? Do they even understand what's going on in their code that's causing the dupes to happen? People are STILL discovering new dupes by complete accident. There is something fundamentally wrong with the way the game handles data.

Just did some Inventory Management (Ultimate) for a couple hours. Only managed to tackle one retainer of 3, and even then I kinda half assed the final page. And I haven't even really touched my own inventory or armory chest. >_> I found items from like HW and StB and was like "whoa! I remember this!" *desynth* lol

So AGS had to completely disable all trading in the game today because of the gold dupes. And in the process they created a new gold dupe by attempting to build a town upgrade, the game won't accept the gold, so it will give back the same amount of gold to the player despite not taking any away. I can't see how the game can survive at this point.

The Zero series was great because it had a vision from beginning to end. The problem with the X series is it was supposed to end after X5, but they kept it going. In fact, Zero basically retcons the entirety of X6-X8, even though they were going on at the same time.

So yea, Mega Man basically pulled a Zelda and split the timeline...
