Being LGBT wasn't the character, the character was simply LGBT. And that's how it works in real life too.SU has some issues, but that's not because of the LGBT stuff, it's mostly some really poor story pacing in the latter half (s4 having way too much filler, s5 being rushed, future dragging at the start and rushing at the end, the movie was fine tho). Still had an overall good run and some great songs tho.
