A little CGI here and there is fine, but I prefer the ruggedness of actual line work that can warp and distort in real time seamlessly. I know CGI is a lot cheaper and easier to work with for an animated series, especially for consistency, but there's a reason for that--it cuts a lot of corners, and sometimes really shows it.tbh I do feel western animation does full CGI shows quite a bit better than anime, so I'm not too bothered by it here.
