TASM2 is the worst one. Literally the only scene that was memorable and stood out to me was Gwen Stacy's death. It was actually a well-done scene.

I expressed in an earlier topic that I would love to see another Andrew Garfield Spidey movie. Especially given the tease that he became angry, bitter, and stopped pulling his punches. Implying that he no longer gave a crap if the criminals and villains he fought survived.

Once again, vaccines are to lessen the severity of symptoms, not to provide immunity outright.

I didn't think joe was being that annoying. I could see where he was coming from, even though I disagreed with some of it.

From what I've heard, at least for some people, playing and talking at the same time really fucks with your brain and makes it harder to play, especially for commentary. I can vouch personally as I tend to fuck up when I'm trying to talk and play at the same time, it's like basic concepts just fade into the ether and are replace with garbage brain lol.

This, it's kinda difficult to do. That's why when I want to do informative stuff I either have a script on hand or I just do post-commentary. I envy the people who are able to play well and have good commentary.

I can't really say much to dispute that (except the final episode felt a lot more like standard Marvel Disney flair than the rest of the series), but Fisk being super strong compared to a regular human is normal to his character, is it not?

Isn't it like third in highest-grossing MCU movies? I may be BSing on that.

Lol, sorry about all the initials. Just this time, cut down on executive meddling. Cut down on the number of different plotlines happening in order to give the remaining ones room to breathe. TASM2 felt hard to follow because it jumped around a lot between different storylines that all seemed to have nothing to do with each other.

It's just, TASM had some of the best visuals in Spider-Man movies, wonderfully choreographed webswinging, silent emotional moments...all of those I remember fondly about the movie. I'd just like to see another Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movie, but done right. Maybe focus on the aspect of his life that got touched on a bit in NWH, where he says he got bitter and hateful and stopped pulling his punches after the end of TASM2.

Some people root for the underdog. I think Hawkeye is pretty cool anyway.

It's good but not amazing. That still puts it above the majority of Christmas movies though. I've been watching a new Christmas movie ever day this month and I'm surprised at how mediocre most of them are

Speaking of, how are the Santa Clause movies? I actually never have watched any of these "classic" Christmas movies, tbh.

That's pretty much the only milk I buy from now on since I hate to waste it, so yeah.

Also, I like the added detail we got of Andrew Garfield's universe, that after Gwen Stacy was killed he never forgave himself, grew hateful, and stopped pulling his punches. Which suggests he actually started killing criminals and villains he fought.

Oh, right. I dunno why I wasn't thinking of that. Still, it feels like him donning a new suit seems like he was shedding the reliance on Stark tech for good.

Wow what a ride. Plus the ending fixes the main complaint people had with the MCU Spidey films (that he's just Iron Boy), since everyone forgot him including Happy, so he's back to not being an Avenger and won't be using Stark tech. It took three movies to do it, but oh well.

It feels like the Venom teaser at the end sorta didn't make sense though. How did a drop of the symbiote manage to stay behind when he got sent back to his own universe?

Alright, since TC is acting like that, I'm gonna see the very first showing day 1.

Admittedly, I like how Trump is like "Oh don't start with me" towards the people booing him.

It absolutely is. Released in a horribly broken state. Very boring compared to the first 2. Still better than Knight but that's comparing sludge to gunk.

Then I feel our opinions are drastically different. I thought Origins was pretty good. Probably not the best Arkham game but it still gave me a lot of enjoyment. The glitches are definitely a legit point but I think some of them got fixed, the time I played it I hardly got any glitches except maybe a crash or two. Arkham Knight was amazing and I spent so much time on its AR Missions.

I still maintain that if they rearrange the way the story is told it would be much better. The non linearity kinda screws it over.

It definitely hurts the pacing. The game suddenly starting over but in a different perspective right before the climax just made the game feel like it was dragging.

this is just from my pov of course, but halfway through the game you have to play as and sympathize with her via "tragic backstory" and "complex", they are saying to your face that you should want to hurt Ellie as this person, (honestly why would we?) and that ellie is completely in the wrong for wanting to avenge her father figure, however the game tries so hard to make us think that Abby is sane when she's objectively highly sadistic in murdering innocent people, and with a really shoddy reason for revenge (her father is presented as a massive dick and unsympathetic as well), the game tries to present her backstory as tragic and that we should feel sorry for her, but it doesnt work, her daily life, her friends and her faher don't matter because she has no good qualities, this is a character we want to see the main protag defeat,

I didn't get that, really. All it showed to me was that "even the bad guys have their own lives and motives." It's your choice on if you want to side with her or not, because Abby's path to revenge ended up ruining her life too.

I think it's just the kind of spice, because I can eat hot stuff but jalapeos and spicy potato chips I can't without chasing it down.

When we've had people downplay Covid, not take it seriously, and as a result have it spread out of control...shouldn't be surprised if we're a little hostile.

This is unfortunately true and it's been pissing me off over the years.

Way too often when they're talking about Covid they use the phrasing "people are getting infected despite being vaccinated." They may follow it up with accurate information, but starting off with that just gives anti-vaxxers more fuel. People need to realize that the vaccine doesn't provide immunity, it's to lessen the symptoms.

Along with the weird world expansion gimmick where you unlocked bigger versions of the same world. Why the Hell didnt they instead make those completely new worlds to add SOME variety if they were gonna copy/paste the same enemies in every world.

They had the right idea with revisiting the idea in Impossible Lair but actually making it so levels get altered. Not just expanded, altered. Allowed for different traversal methods and for a 3D game, could use it to hide collectibiles in clever ways.

With rumors of a Yooka-Laylee sequel being out there, here's hoping they take the criticisms of the first game to heart and adapt some of the ideas that they had with Impossible Lair. Also better level designs and move integration.

My thing is id be completely fine with Yooka-Laylee being Banjo-Threeie in all but name IF they actually did it well. It shouldve been everything the first two games were and so much more, instead it had less features, detail, personality and scope than a game released 20 years earlier on vastly inferior hardware.

Yeah that's true. The first level wasn't a great first impression because it literally looked like assets pasted together, as opposed to Mumbo's Mountain and Mayahem Temple where they looked carefully crafted to seem like real places. Well, real in the context of the game, lol. I didn't like that each level had the same NPCs as well.

I had a feeling it would, if only because of human stupidity. In fact, my prediction has been that this is going to be a constant threat we'd have to be vaccinated for, much like the flu.

The devs of AHIT are probably more talented.

And yeah, I enjoyed what I played of Yooka-Laylee but didn't come close to the games it was trying to replicate. A Hat in Time is better especially since it tries its own style at a classic platformer instead of trying to 1:1 recreate an exact style.

Alright. I heard the after-credits are kinda long (part of it is just straight up a trailer for Multiverse of Madness?) so this'll be interesting.

Eddie and Venom are chilling in their apartment, Venom BS's about symbiotes having multiverse knowledge and then all of a sudden a flash of light happens and they get transported to a different home. The TV they're watching shows a news report from The Daily Bugle showing Tom Holland's Spider-Man right after the events of Far From Home.

Don't spoil how exactly, I'm just wondering since I'll be seeing No Way Home tuesday and I just finished watching Venom 2 (was a good movie btw).

Feel like getting back into FighterZ after MK11 and Injustice 2 but all you can do is get your ass and balls handed to you online. No single player features in that at all after finishing the weak ass stories.

I swear, if it gets a new season of DLC that would be a prime opportunity for them to improve the online and make it rollback-based. ArcSys has been doing that for a handful of their previous games, they just need approval from the publisher for this.

Kinda agree, it was a weak show. The Doctor Strange one is the only episode I truly enjoyed.

If you really don't want to watch the rest of it, all you need to know in case it comes up later is that all the multiverse characters form a Guardians of the Multiverse kind of group and end up sealing away alternate Killmonger and an evil Dr. Strange together, right after dealing with an Ultron that was able to detect the existence of the multiverse and trying to conquer it.
