This was the worst part and I had to hack my Pixel phone for this to work. But then you realize there are deposit limits and then you're forced to use a kiosk. And most of those kiosks cannot refill a digital card. Hold on to whatever physical Suica, Pasmo, Icoca, etc you can find. Welcome or regular.

I wish I knew I could refill at any convenience store a lot earlier and those usually work with digital.

It's extraordinary bad luck. It was the first mission in forever to not visit the space station and it was the last without contingencies. Nobody ever got a good look at the damage. The shuttle program is littered with near-disasters. 1, 51F, 93, etc. 27 nearly replicated the loss of Columbia. And that one was saved by luck and tile location.
