But I doubt ppl regularly go door to door now, trying to sell a set of steak knives orva vacuum cleaner. That's what the internet is for.

the people that stop by my house are usually selling: solar panels, utility services like a different electric or gas provider, cable / internet, or lawn / tree services.

last week we had a big storm roll through our area and over the next few days i had like three tree removal companies stop by, and a roofing company.

going door to door while most people are annoyed at your existence, or just ignore you entirely. imagine thinking that interrupting someone at home to try selling them something is a good sales tactic. i've started looking through the door, allowing them to see me looking out, then just not opening up for them.

The T-800 has detailed files on Los Angeles area, so he purposefully leads the chase toward the steel plant. If we saw it from his eyes, he probably picked between 3-4 locations that had the potential to kill the T-1000.

The liquid nitrogen was on its way to the foundry to be used for some manufacturing process.

i can buy that. a line of dialog, or a brief moment showing his thought process would have been nice tho. maybe we are just meant to assume that based on his previous demonstrations of knowledge.

Who was the weirdo who thought inserting a guard licking the face of a stranger while they were bounded was a great idea? It offered nothing to the plot whatsoever.

even as a kid i thought that was really weird and i didn't quite understand it. as an adult, i still don't get how it adds to the plot in any way. the only thing i can think of is that it shows how strong Sarah was to be able to avoid reacting. it also shows how deplorable the conditions of the hospital are.

these people seem to purposefully do things they know will just waste taxpayer money, so they can later point out how wasteful the government is when they try to rollback regulations or strip agencies of power

Were going to spend valuable state resources defending the law when we really need to be teaching our kids how to read and write, Duplessis said. I dont think this is appropriate for us to mandate.

The purpose is not solely religious, Sen. J. Adam Bass, R-Bossier City, told the Senate. Rather, it is the Ten Commandments' "historical significance, which is simply one of many documents that display the history of our country and foundation of our legal system.

I feel like early CGI was bright and lacked detail so the T1000 especially can hold up because hes mostly formless. Its my favorite movie and its still great.

i sorta wish there was a plot explanation for how they conveniently ended up in a steel plant. that always bugged me. like if that car chase ended anywhere else they'd have had no chance at defeating the T1000.

thats how Republicans operate. they go on and on about how the fed is too big and spends too much and scream foul any time another state needs help. but when it happens to them, they play the perpetual victim card and scream "PARTISAN POLITICS OVER HUMAN LIVES" when they don't get free money.

red states perpetually consume more than they give back. year after year, decade after decade. socialism pays for them to survive, then they bitch and moan anytime they need to foot the bill because "won't you think of the billionaires?"

they are literally the party selfishness and hypocrisy embodied.
