That's the reason I'd go to Mexico instead of the UK, which I also have the right to live in. The UK is heading for fascism too, as is most of the western aligned world. So better to go somewhere else entirely until this far-right phase is over.

I have the right to reside in Mexico through marriage, so I'd probably just go there and stay until (or if) the US returns to normalcy. Part of me would want to stay and try to help others here, but I have family who rely on me to think about.

Twice in my life Ive dated people who came out and transitioned in the middle of me dating them. Im trans myself, but Ill admit both were difficult adjustments for me to get used to and I slipped up a few times early on.

I really hope Trump doesnt come after social security/disability. I live with a disabled relative who relies entirely on it, and I wouldnt be able to pay for all their expenses as well as my own and my wifes.

I can't blame them for this belief when liberal democracy is failing the people. We do need to radically change the way society is organised, but capitalist democracies do not allow for that change to occur within the system. The issue is, people are looking to the far right instead of the left for solutions, not realising that the far right will just make all their problems worse. I find it hard to have any faith in democracy myself after the majority of Americans chose Trump. Capitalist democracy is what gave us Donald Trump. What we need is a left-wing democracy, but capitalism stifles any left-wing ideas, and would prefer that society become a fascist dictatorship rather than allow any socialist policies.

As a trans woman, I don't think I can. It is hard knowing that the majority of my fellow citizens voted for me to suffer, either because they fell for propaganda about egg prices or they acitvely wanted me to suffer.

There was no cheating and anyone claiming there was is deluding themselves. This is what the average American wants. The average American is either an active fascist or okay with fascism.
