Great stuff. Uendo is a really fun character and Kisegawa is soooo cool and kinda sexy too. Just fun, mostly low stake stuff. Not bad as a palate cleanser before the monster that is 6-5!

Fabulous hair flip.
Great motivation and twists and turns.
And although slightly long, the pacing is good enough that it never felt like it was dragging its feet.

It was basically my first action roguelite(/like) so I had no expectations and I ended up loving it.

I can see your points, then again the enemy variety has never been widely praised from what I see. Once you get the handle of things it kinda turns into a musou game where you can plow down enemies without too much thinking and just seeing what cool attacks you can get.

Ahlbi (and Shadoh) is adorable but otherwise it's a pretty forgettable case.

Also, I forgot about Pat Rohl but that means we have 4 patrol-based names alongside Patricia and Roly Beates, and Patricia Roland (although that one's a fan name).

Really, really good and the crown jewel of PL vs. AA. Doesn't reach the highest height due to the very nature of the game being a non-canon crossover and all the wackiness that being a partial PL game brings, but still excellent regardless. I enjoy the side characters too!

Pretty good. Our first taste of a magic case and it's pretty interesting since we need to accept the premise that magic is real and how it plays into the case.
I agree that Kira's name is a bit weird, being one name only and sounding more Asian than Western (at least to me).

4/10 I like Olivia's animations, the comeback of Phoenix and Maya duo was soooo good (at least conceptually), but yeah nothing else to write home about.

Really really enjoyed it. Might not be too emotional or mind-blowing, but I love the cast. Not one miss. Herman and his penguins are adorable. Sasha is endearing. Orla is too cute and funny. Norma is a great comedic witness that could've been so annoying but wasn't. And Marlon is a really unique witness with cool ass transformation.

So many memorable moments and characters. I love Robin so much. Also "You're a goner!" made me cringe but not necessarily in a bad way. It's camp.

Myriam is also a fun character with a great design, even if she's slightly underused.

It's ok. Ted has neat animations and Candice's name pun is pretty good since it kinda sounds like a real name.

Some more comparisons. I don't play the game, but changing from a mostly stylized art style to a quite realistic one is obviously gonna be divisive at least.

Voted "Maybe/I don't know/Unsure" because I sort of disagree with the premise of the question. Discord and a message board are just not really comparable (unless we use this threads feature which I've never even seen used before tbh so idk how similar it is). I'm already on the discord but the convos there aren't the same as following a thread here so I just don't think it could replace it, and if anything, the chat scrolling by even quicker would make me less likely to try and follow it.
