Being intelligent doesn't seem to keep you from catching brain rot. Look at Ben Carson dude was a brilliant surgeon but today he says some of most astronomically dumb things you'll ever hear a person say. Elon has clearly caught the conspiracy theorist brain rot.

People are bad at recognizing what has been termed 'Nobel Prize Effect' for a long time now. People who are intelligent in one field should not be assumed to be intelligent in other fields.

Musk holds a Bachelor of Arts in physics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. These do not represent 'genius'. Above average intelligence, sure. However, he has lied through his teeth about various gaps in his apparent 'genius'.

acknowledging the reality of his assension to the top of a few companies does not entail being butthurt, it involves acknowledging that he did not 'work' his way to the top, but spent his way to the top.

I'm not a huge fan of Stewart even though I like many of his bits.
