I know when you fight Z'rell, they or one of their allies can counterspell. I remember my spike growth getting counterspelled. Though my current run is also honor mode.

They fixed the bug that allowed you to loot dropped weapons from elementals after a long rest. Sadge. Wonder if if applies to Devas as well. That mace is great on Minthara in Honour mode.

tbf, they had like no animations and were really overtuned in values. They clearly weren't intended to be PC accessible and only existed so elementals could make attacks.

It does, it also makes you have disadvantage on dex saves (even though that isn't an actual rule in D&D 5e).

You can also completely shut down enemy actions if you make them prone and frightened since if they have no movement, they can't get up.

All Shield Bashes except this very specfic one from a shield in Act 3 at the House of Grief do no damage. However, knocking an enemy prone does immediately end their turn which is extremely useful.

The biggest thing right now is the fact the GOP told a hardline stance on the border "issue" and is now saying they won't pass anything until after the election. They are saying we have a problem that is apparently not urgent enough to be addressed now. That's certainly not helping them win.

I'm pretty sure this is old news. I remember it being pointed out around the time Musk purchased Twitter.

That's pretty much the goal of these mtx riddled shit games, for ever 1,000 people who scoff and spend nothing there's one whale who drops a few grand. It's a pretty disgusting business model because it doesn't care at all about quality, someone somewhere will buy that trash. And when they stop, move on to the next game

And the thing is even if you don't spend money, the game was made worse for you just so they could sell these bonuses.

Still there is something to be worried about. Horse armor was made fun of and yet Horse Armor became microtransactions of today. We should be concerned that the next step in big game publishers is to nickle and dime us for simple recolors.

Because literally we are talking about nuances in online forums and discussions. Because guess what can lose itself in terms of text messages? Emotions. Blizzard is charging $30 for portal colors in Diablo 4, and players are having none of it.

From the recent confusion surrounding cosmetic items in Diablo 4's Lunar Awakening event, to what players deemed "mathematically the scummiest" coin reward Blizzard could have given battle pass purchasers in Season 1, the action RPG has had its fair share of controversy when it comes to paid content. Now players are once again up in arms, this time over portal colors that cost "almost half the price of the game."

Over on the Diablo 4 subreddit, user Mwatki20 sparked the conversation by posting an image of the Dark Pathways pack, which offers town portals in orange, green, purple, yellow, and blue, as well as 1000 Platinum for a considerable sum. "$20 for different color portals? LMFAO Blizz!" they write.

Amazingly, it's even worse than that. As another player points out, the bundle actually costs $29.99, making it "almost half the price of [Diablo 4]." Further down in the comments, user Cmionor rightly says that for the same sum, you could purchase Pocketpair's 'Pokemon with Guns' sensation: "You can get Palworld for this pricejust sayin"

Adding salt to the wound is the fact that each color is locked to a specific class. "It isn't even just that it costs money," says WhiteVoltage. "I wouldn't necessarily mind paying $5 or something for it. But $30 for a portal that I might get two classes' worth of use out of? Hell no. Hay-ell no." Rather than being outraged, Patient_Competion4 finds the situation downright laughable, saying, "The fact that they're CLASS LOCKED is hilarious to me lmfao."

As some other players point out, switching up your portal color is merely cosmetic and doesn't affect the gameplay in any way, so you can enjoy Diablo 4 just the same without having to cough up the additional dough. Though with so many voicing their dissatisfaction at the lofty price tag attached to items in what's already a full-price game, perhaps Blizzard will rethink how much it charges for these kinds of cosmetics in the future.

If Palworld was nothing more than a barebones pokemon clone, it wouldn't have seen the popularity that it gotten. People can already play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet if they wanted a barebones pokemon clone.

Because I am looking at it from an objective standpoint. When you even look at screen shots of the game alone you can kinda tell that just from art assets alone it doesnt match up well enough not to look like a hobbled game. You have Pal which some obviously takes more inspiration from Pokmon then others, you got this weird world design that looks like it clashes with the Pals, then you have guns which is an even weirder choice. Like it doesnt take too much to see this is there. Again in no means does that mean I am claiming the game is bad, isnt fun, cant be liked, etc.

You are not some objective arbiter. it's very clear you have a bias against Palworld compared to other game series that were build up heavily inspired by another source.

And yet that doesnt negate my point. Taking inspirations of things is always going to be present in media for sure. However the issue at hand is that when it comes to inspiration of ideas and concepts is on one hand a lot of people end up making their own things here over time, crafting their own worlds.

Palworld has an identity issue to say the least because of how blatant that inspiration is in that case. Coupled with the whole guns thing and survival crafting and while you can have a fun game for sure you have a weird clash of different things into one pile.

You keep saying it has an identity issue, but literally you are the only person making this claim.

Yeah but again its one thing to be inspired by something else, entirely another to basically copy designs but to do it just enough that you wont get legally bodied by a company you are copying from.

Some people are way too focused on design elements being similar as if video games have never copied each other before.

Nothing is really 100% unique. You're bound to take inspirations from things you've enjoyed and people are also bound to come up with the same ideas despite never interacting with each other. There's nothing wrong with it.

Plus there's far more to Palworld than having Pokemon looking Pals

I mean yeah, from what I understood it's only the bones of the game that's there with very little meat. In pokemon equivalent, you have only the first "gym" available.

There are 4 other "leaders" you can fight, but the game doesn't make it very clear they exist and you just kind of stumble on to them if you manage to take time to explore instead of managing 3 bases.

I would also say there's a lot of lacking automatization which is the whole appeal of having pals. You can have Pals cook food, but there's no system for the pal to keep cooking that food as long as ingredients are available so you need to stop at the base and keep manually starting productions.

Hailey's own party doesn't like her. I don't see how she would beat Biden.

Early encounters in BG3 can be rather difficult due to the lower health of your party, but you really shouldn't be getting wiped in 1 turn unless you mismanage your positioning.

Also litter is absorbant. So if schools did keep litter on hand, good chance it's used to help clean up spills rather than to accommodate furry students.
