Yeah, it's a pretty irreverent style of humor. You might not like it.

I do unironically recommend watching the Mega Man X sequelitis, though. It has a lot of enjoyable and interesting talking points about game design in general, but especially pertaining to MMX's intro stage.
I like videos on game design, so i'll have to check that one out.

Even the fans agree.

"Wheel of Fortune" Fans Think the Show Is Rigged

SUSPICIONS AROSE AFTER CONTESTANTS LANDED ON THE SAME PRIZE WEDGE FIVE TIMES IN A ROW.

https://bestlifeonline.com/wheel-of-fortune-rigged-bmw-news/

A mechanical engineer even broke down the math to explain why the odds of landing on the same exact prize wedge that many times is "too unlikely to be a coincidence."

His thread continued, "5 nights in a row the prize landed on for the final puzzle has been a car, specifically a BMW. The final wheel has 24 prizes. If we assume one card contains the car, the odds of hitting that spot 5 times in a row is 1/7.96 million. Those odds are astronomically bad."

Yeah, like I was saying, it tends to happen very frequently. 11% is a pretty high chance when you're spinning several times per puzzle.
So frequently, that the wheel is probably rigged.

??

There are 24 spaces on the wheel, with two bankrupt spaces and the one million dollar space that is surrounded by two "mini bankrupts" which basically equate to another 2/3rds of a space.

So if you divide the number of bankrupt spaces (2.66) by the number of spaces on the wheel (24) you get .11083..., which roughly means there's an 11.1% chance of getting a bankrupt with every spin. Given that you spin the wheel before guessing every consonant, that's a lot of spins per episode.

With an 11% chance of bankrupt, there should be a bankrupt roughly every ~9 spins. Based on luck (of lack thereof) it's not even extremely unlikely to get more than one bankrupt in a row.
And yet, it happens multiple times within an episode.

And, this time the disinformation is automated courtesy of LLM tools.

https://time.com/6983903/openai-foreign-influence-campaigns-artificial-intelligence/

OpenAI identified and removed five covert influence operations based in Russia, China, Iran and Israel that were using its artificial intelligence tools to manipulate public opinion, the company said on Thursday.

In a new report, OpenAI detailed how these groups, some of which are linked to known propaganda campaigns, used the companys tools for a variety of deceptive activities. These included generating social media comments, articles, and images in multiple languages, creating names and biographies for fake accounts, debugging code, and translating and proofreading texts. These networks focused ona range of issues, including defending the war in Gaza and Russias invasion of Ukraine, criticizing Chinese dissidents, and commenting onpolitics in India, Europe, and the U.S. in their attempts to sway public opinion. While these influence operations targeted a wide range of online platforms, including X (formerly known as Twitter), Telegram, Facebook, Medium, Blogspot, and other sites, none managed to engage a substantial audience according to OpenAI analysts.

Strap in, shits about to get bumpy.

It is, and by design.

https://www.euronews.com/next/2024/06/06/russiagate-to-portal-kombat-the-foreign-misinformation-campaigns-shifting-the-european-ele

Long before the writ dropped, the French, Germans, and Polish authorities discovered an elaborate Russian disinformation campaign called "Portal Kombat".

Frances VIGINUM, a state agency created in 2021 to fight foreign interference, analysed information portals between September and December 2023 and found 193 sites that spread false claims suggesting Russias war in Ukraine is a legitimate military exercise.

The sites disseminate information from the social media accounts of Russian or pro-Russian actors, Russian news agencies, and local websites. Content on the sites also takes on controversial topics that could "contribute to dividing the Francophone debate," according to VIGINUM.

The wheel itself is rigged with a motor for sure.

No way do multiple contestants get bankrupt multiple times during the show without the producers saying so.
