Yes, I think those people are wrong - however bad Biden is on Gaza, the world still needs him to win because the alternative is fascism. But however wrong we think they are, the fact is that there are people - potentially enough people to swing the election - who do think like that. And if Biden thinks continuing to arm and fund a genocidal regime is more important than convincing those people that he's worth voting for, that's on him.

You need to understand that the people here criticising Biden for supporting Israel aren't (barring one or two idiots) doing it because they want to punish Biden by making sure he loses - they're doing it becaus they want him to be convinced to change tack so he doesn't lose.

just because young people are protesting Biden's handling of the Israel/Palestine conflict doesn't mean they're not going to vote for him. if they're intelligent enough to be protesting these issues, they're smart enough to vote against the guy who would make them 100x worse

Biden suddenly going anti-Israel would lose him a lot more moderate voters than he would possibly gain. They're a very important strategic ally, and the US is never just going to give that up.
