This reminds me when a person rear ended my dads car. My dad, trying to be a nice guy, decided not to report it because the damage was so minimal and decided to just part ways with the other guy not even asking the other person to pay for any "damages". A year later, the other guy tries to sue us for $100k plus damages because supposedly it was my dad that backed up his car and caused him to have spinal damages. It took about 3 years before the asshole dropped the charges against my dad.

Aren't the V's suppose to be jokes? I didn't really see them do anything in the first season. I was hoping they would concentrate more on the "redeeming hell citizens to be good people" story than going into "another war" story.

Filming is not that much cheaper in Georgia than in California, but the tax incentives to film in Georgia (and have the Georgia logo in the credits) is fucking huge and saves a shit ton of money. It's been awhile since I've done accounting for films in Georgia, but the rule used to be for every dollar you spend, you get $0.30's back. This adds up hugely with high budget films, hence why some of the biggest budget films are done in Georgia than Hollywood or Vancouver. There's still a lot of movies and tv shows filmed on set in Hollywood, but they tend to be lower scaled (budgeted) or filmed for only very specific scene and the rest filmed somewhere else. That's because the talent pool in Hollywood is still bigger and superior to other locations.

Just looking at gameplay videos, it's basically Vampire Survivor and Risk of Rain but looks cheap as fuck to make. I might be down for it.

I mean the crazy part is that this isn't like some no name comedians that are trying to hustle. These are big names are already making a shit ton of money, so why the hell are they shilling themselves for this?

The biggest problem with the camera is that it's so close to Sora. The second game solved this issue by moving the camera back more so you can actually see the environment.

Yeah that intro was wtf, but the game as a whole looks terrible to play. The original Comix Zone game was snappy and felt good to play. This looks super slow and sluggish. This sucks because I think the main character's design actually looks super cool.

Apparently there's a huge modding scene that is actively being supported by the devs themselves, hence why the player count is so high for a single player game.

Marvel Rivals is the only game I play and yeah, there's a pretty annoying group of players in the community who care way too much about the meta around team composition. I'm a flex player and don't mind switching but it makes me not want to do that when someone is crying from the start or trying to tell others what to do because it's not "the meta." I only play quick match fwiw.

The community is pretty fucking terrible in general though, so maybe it's just that and not the meta aspect itself.

EDIT: Misread the title but yeah, I think they do get in their own way because clearly they're not having a good time, in my experience.

To be fair on Marvel Rivals, this type of thing was bound to happen in any online multiplayer game that gets super popular in general. I saw the exact same thing in CS:GO and League of Legends...because I used to be that way as well.

I used to be that way anytime I played any online multiplayer game when I was super competitive in my early Highschool and college years. My issue with it was that it kind of made me a toxic person, to the point where I end up hating the game I was playing because I could see the flaws. I would get into unnecessary fights online whether certain builds are superior, why certain balance patches were good or bad, etc. It also added stress to my life that I didn't need now that I had a full time job. It took me awhile to learn to just have "fun" and stop playing a game when it stopped being fun.

He's being released on October 7, the same date where this game will go from open Beta to Early Access. He looks like he's going to be an annoying as fuck zoner.

With that said, I'm having a blast with this game despite it's really small roster for a 2v2 game.

It was shadow dropped by Nintendo without any advertisement, so I don't think Nintendo has that much confidence in it. It does look like a totally different game that had FE brand slapped on top of it.

I wish I liked it more. The story was intriguing, the the characters are interesting, the graphics and atmosphere were great, and I have to applaud whoever made the music in this game because that was the best part. Otherwise, the game was a fucking slog to play. I get that a Japanese school girl isn't suppose to be good at fighting, but man the game is clunky as fuck. The puzzles were uninteresting and boring and the story went into a very predictable route that I was calling almost every "plot twist". I think I would've gotten better enjoyment just watching someone else's playthrough rather than playing it myself.

5/10 for me imo.

Correct, unless you are a popular series that can be milked to death like Dragon Ball, animes will always tend to go in the red. It's why most anime studios pay their animators like shit and/or outsource a lot of their work.

That's so cool, the only other board game creator I got to meet in person one time was Jamey Stegmaier, but that was at a literal meet and greet and I only had like 15 seconds to say anything to him before he signed some of my board games instruction booklet lol.

I have both Gloomhaven and Frosthaven digital, so I hope to get to go back to playing them. Don't have that much free time to playing it now that I have my second child.

Hasan is a tankie and that's the biggest reason for why he's such a piece of shit. Gloomhaven pretty much revolutionized Dungeon Crawler board games and what you can do with the medium. It's that good. The only downside is the clean up and set up time, which the digital version does a good job of doing it for you.

A lot of people like to shit on OW2 (me included), but the fact it was able to keep such a large playerbase means the game is still doing really well...and we're only seeing the numbers on steam (which I think is going to be higher than battlenet, but still).

I just watched it and I have no fucking idea what's happening. Apparently, my friend who is a big Homestuck fanboy, told me that's the point and it will make more sense down the line. The animation is fantastic but yeah they sweared a little more than I thought it would. Then again, this is a Vizziepop show so that much is expected. The voice work also seems very good as well, the characters sound natural.

I'm going to be doing a TTRPG for Arkham Horror next week...which is weird because Arkham Horror brand came from Call of Cthulhu TTRPG, but Arkham Horror TTRPG promises to be more "pulpy" and more "board game" like. I'll see how it is.
