Indie games are rarely as good as their reviewers make them out to be. So far the best Indie game I've played is Shovel Knight with Undertale probably a distant 2nd. And I'm pretty confident neither would make my Top 100 or even 200 for that matter.

Rocket League, VVVVVV, Salt and Sanctuary, Bastion are notably good games as well but like I said it is hard for them to compete with AAA games that hit their stride. It is not even fair to compare them to be honest. The budget, the team behind them and everything else is on too different a scale to even fairly compare.

Also What Remains of Edith Finch was overrated as hell. It is good for what it is, i.e a 2-3 hour 'game' if you can even call it that. But even comparing it to the likes of Zelda or Persona 5 or the other great games of 2017 is asinine. It is a ridiculous scenario when you think about which game to award GotY to, if you actually played both Breath of the Wild and WROEF. It is like comparing an exquisite three course meal in a world class restaurant to an instant ready to eat mac n' cheese lying in your refrigerator.

And if someone is gonna come here and spout 'gaming is an art' nonsense to justify indie games' quality then please take it somewhere else. I wanna hear none of that this is art pretentious crap.

Estelle/Joshua's story seems to be over. A lot of the main characters' arcs have concluded in a satisfying way. Zane's being the standout best. The regions of Liberl have had more than enough exposure by now and of course the myths and legends surrounding it have all been exposed as well.

The only way the 3rd's story would interest me is if it highlights Campanella and the Grandmaster's schemes and not simply filler epilogue material. I can see Kevin is a huge part of the 3rd and that may or may not be a good thing.

Overall SC was a grander and more conclusive experience than the first but there were times I wished the pacing was more balanced just like the first game. I really wished it wasn't exploring the same areas of the first game for the vast majority.

The writing and characters were outstanding as always and is by far the game's two best aspects. For its gameplay despite minor additions is still super bare-bones.

So if anyone can sell me on Trails the 3rd. I might play it sooner than later.

I think I may have put that many hours on Breath of the Wild alone or more. I didn't check after beating it but it was definitely over 150 at least. That's doing everything the game has to offer including the hellish task of finding all 900 Korok seeds.

And no Zodiac version only makes a minor difference in the rankings for me. FF12 isn't suddenly great because of a few tweaks. The story and characters remain one of the most embarrassingly bad combos in JRPG history.
The gameplay and the world has always been great though.

I noticed it turning red when playing Tales of Berseria for some reason. Otherwise it is mostly blue and of course yellow when it is charging.

No wonder the battery life is crap compared to the PS3 controller.

Oh. So this is like a normal thing for the Switch?

It has never happened to me before. I played BotW for over 150 hours and not once did this thing with the battery display occur, which is what's causing my concern.

So I was playing a little bit of Splatoon 2 in handheld mode and the battery became quite low and I decided to leave it on charge. I check back a couple hours later and it is at 92% so I thought I'll let it charge till 100%. But an hour later it is still at 92%. Thought it was weird so I took the system out from the charger and played it for a while and decided to charge it again a bit later.

And still the same issue persists. It charges till 92% but doesn't go beyond that. The joycons are both fully charged but the system is stuck at 92% with the green light indicating that it is charging but it just doesn't go beyond 92% no matter how long I keep it in charge.

Any solutions to this weird thing happening to my Switch?

Worst flight ever. Didn't get a wink of sleep because the fat dude's arms were pushing against me and he smelled weird. The lady asked me to take a selfie with her which I flat out refused (politely of course). She kept standing up and talking to someone at the back so it made it very hard to not get bothered by that.

She was also the type who didn't get a hint even if you blantantly stopped responding.

I have a meeting in 3 hours so yeah. FML.

The Clock Tower games are a bit obtuse to get into, and I will admit the trial and error gameplay can get annoying fast. But it's always great when those clever moments of horror shine through.

Will you ever check out NightCry, the series' spiritual successor?

I guess I can check it out after I eventually play Clock Tower 3. It is nice to have options when I have finished playing most of the best ones in the genre.

Until Dawn sounds like exactly the kind of the game I need right now. Whenever I take a break from T*** SC, I'm just playing Tekken 7 or Splatoon 2 so I would love to play a Horror game instead.

As for the Clock Tower series. I found the SNES one to be near unplayable but enjoyed the one on the PS1 quite a lot. The point click adventure style interface on a PS1 was a bit awkward to get used to though.

Ironically though Clock Tower 2 looked like the game with the best potential in the series and even started off quite scary. But then the tedious gameplay and some of the ending requirements made the game very hard to play without scratching your head in frustration. That game was just weird in a bad way.

Quite a lot of votes for Clock Tower 3. I hope it isn't like Clock Tower 2 where it started strong but ended up being one of the worst games I've ever played. The story's premise was great but the exection was really bad. Add the just as bad if not worse gameplay and the game was really hard to enjoy.

On the other hand, I've always heard good things about Until Dawn but never really came along to play it. It looks like something I'll enjoy.

As for the rest, they all remain on my list to play in the future. Rule of Rose intrigues me a lot since I liked Haunting Ground.
