Black Clover is another fantasy shonen anime similar to those two shows that has really good world-building and a lot of creative magic battles. It's pretty long though (130+ episodes and still airing) and it kind of starts slow for the first 15 episodes or so, but it gets really good later on. Since you mentioned liking sci-fi series, Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star are both classic sci-fi adventure anime with really interesting characters and a great story as well. They're much shorter series too, both only 26 episodes each plus Bebop having an additional movie on the side. The last recommendation I'll drop for now is Symphogear, which is a sci-fi action show with a wild story and five seasons (65 episodes total) of awesome action scenes that almost make it feel like an over-the-top 80's action movie. Between how stupidly long the original timeline is (196 episodes and a movie for the original series, 175 episodes for G) and what I read about how IF appears to be more closely tied to the reboot timeline than the original timeline, I think I'll just watch the reboot instead. So back in 2017, around when I was starting to dive deep into following seasonal streaming anime, I watched a decently fun magical girl anime called Twin Angel Break. @Spidey5 I remember you also watching it with me that season. I bring this series up because, at the time I watched it, I had no idea it was actually a sequel to a previous Twin Angel series, Twinkle Paradise. Nanoha Vivid is down. I'm so confused. It's like they were setting up for a second season but a second season never happened. Nothing was resolved and the tournament was only like half over. I don't know what episode 12.5 is, but there is no way it will resolve everything. Sadly, one of the flaws in Nanoha ViVid's anime is that it's a very incomplete story. Unlike the first three Nanoha anime seasons being original anime, ViVid was based on a manga and is clearly meant to be a "go read the manga for more" kind of anime. Both Nanoha Force (the next serious story after StrikerS focusing on adult Nanoha/Fate/Hayate) and Nanoha ViVid began publication in 2009, and the original plan was to have Force continue the main story and ViVid would just be a lighter side project. However, Force wasn't well-received by fans in the beginning, and it was eventually put "on hiatus" (a full cancellation hasn't been officially announced, but it's been "on hiatus" for seven years now) and ViVid was basically promoted to being the main story in its place and continued for a lot longer than it was originally planned to. The anime didn't air until 2015 and only adapted 30 chapters out of the 70+ that existed at the time, and the manga ended with 102 in total. I am both extremely hyped and absolutely fucking terrified for when it gets a home release and I'll finally be able to watch it.
