While the winner wasn't one of the top guys I was supporting the whole time, I think Undertaker is a great and deserving winner. Girl's last tour is only depressing if you dwell too much into the whole "these 2 girls are the last human beings on the planet and are destined to watch their race go extinct". This. The entire point of Girls' Last Tour is Chito and Yuuri finding ways to stay happy in the bleak, post-apocalyptic wasteland that is their world. It had some moments that could be considered bittersweet, but nothing totally depressing. It's not that kind of show. It's a slice-of-life, a comedy, and a "cute girls doing cute things" show. They know that their world and their lives are doomed to end soon, and they don't care. They just do their best find any happiness they can in what little time they have left. If you're similar to a certain someone else in these topics who loves to watch people suffer and be unhappy *cough*@Popcorn_Fairy*cough* then you'll be sorely disappointed. But if you want to watch cute girls do cute things and don't mind a little philosophical retrospection along with it, then Girls' Last Tour is for you. Spidey5 posted... One of the greatest shows of the past season. Agreed. Undertaker is a performer who awes people with his unique character, promos, and mystique, while AJ Styles is just a normal guy who awes people with his unparalleled in-ring ability. Undertaker is eternally loyal to WWE, and has arguably built up the most incredible and enduring legacy within one company in the history of professional wrestling. AJ Styles did the opposite, jumping from company to company across the world, having amazing matches in all of them before finally landing in WWE. They're polar opposites that appeal to different crowds. Undertaker is a picture-perfect example of a WWE superstar: able to cut unique and engaging promos, be consistent and dependable in the ring, and tell an incredible story over the length of an entire feud. AJ Styles, on the other hand, is the picture-perfect example of a professional wrestler: able to consistently put on amazing matches, elevate anyone he faces and make them look better, and tell an incredible story within the context of a single match. Undertaker and AJ Styles couldn't be more different in terms of what they mean to the wrestling industry and the legacy they've built... but they're two of the greatest men who have ever stepped foot in the squared circle. It's a shame that we never got to see them face off in the ring, but at least we get to see them face off in this contest. Undertaker is just one of those timeless guys that has a unique gimmick and a mystique around his character, and he has always been loyal to WWE. Throughout the Monday Night Wars, when guys were jumping between WWE, WCW, and ECW was extremely common, Undertaker was the one guy WWE had that stayed 100% loyal and never even thought about leaving. He was a mainstay on WWE programming for 20 years, and even after becoming a part-timer at the end of his career, he still gave it his all whenever he was needed. His character, the backstory behind it (with Paul Bearer and Kane involved as well), his awe-inspiring entrance, and his incredible undefeated streak at Wrestlemania are all iconic parts of WWE history and of a legacy almost 30 years in the making.
