That was so good, I loved Adam this episode. He's been such a little shit this season trying to keep up with things. I love how Adam Klein in confessionals is so confident and knowledgeable and is calling out everything that's going on but Adam actually interacting with with other Survivors is timid and desperate and begging for everything. It's a bit of a stark difference in how he sees himself and how he actually performs in the field.

I definitely love how no matter how effective what he's doing is, he always pushes as hard as he can right until the very end.

Going for that idol was a longshot and its pretty embarrasing that it didn't work but he did have good reasoning for doing it and once you have that deduction you really have to go for it. what if it HAD been an idol?

Absolutely LOVED how Jeff played it off. "Always." Jeff is such a great host, he really makes this show phenomenal.

You can put the negative line on the dead battery, but there's a real risk of causing the battery to explode and/or catching the vehicle on fire. I don't know how dangerous it is, but it's catastrophic enough to not be worth the risk at all since it's easy to avoid. Bits of plastic and battery acid flying at you and your friends sounds like a fun time, but it's not.

i'm placing an order for for some food for a total. then it tacks on a delivery charge. then i also have 15% on my bill as a tip. but.... that just doubles up the delivery charge usually.

i've heard the typical range is 40-150 so 147 is pretty good for the typical turnip prices. there's a decent chance you won't see higher on your own personal island this week.

I would never vote for a candidate that i didnt want to be president. "oh we gotta keep that other guy from winning" yeah no thanks. If i vote for someone, i'm endorsing them.

I am VERY anti trump and all the stupid shit he does, but no way would i vote for someone that i think is literally not in control of his faculties. you can try to downplay it as a stutter or whatever you believe it is, and maybe you are even right, but Biden will give speeches and negotiations the same way as president that he gives interviews now. There's no way i would be happy with someone like that as leader so there's no way i would ever vote for him.

So the idea that democratic voters would not want to vote for Biden seems pretty reasonable to me.

Voting "just to keep the other guy out" really weakens the entire process imo.

equip your net before you shake a tree, always shake any tree from the bottom, make sure the space to your left and right are clear, if a hive falls you will automatically turn and face it, then mash A and you will catch it literally 100% of the time

it's easy to do, but existing at all makes harvesting lumber kinda tedious

either i shake every tree first with my net ready or i just start chopping away and accept my sting

If I were offered a choice between working the next 4 months or not working and still getting my regular paycheck for the next 4 months but without having a guaranteed job to return to I'm definitely still working. What if the choice is "should i keep trying to work my job that i'm probably getting laid off from eventually and might go under anyways vs just taking guaranteed money from the government" ? Your scenario doesn't necessarily reflect the choice people might be making. There's tons of uncertainty

Also you easily just tell future employees you were laid off due to the shut down - why would anybody ever question that

Also I'm not sure why Tony keeps saying stimulus. Nothing about this is a stimulus. There's barely an economy to stimulate. People aren't expected to be going out to stores to do shopping or ordering extreaneous expansions or whatever. payments are purely to keep the lights on for people at this point. It's an attempt at stasis, not an ignition.

Does Disneyland plan to reopen on Apr 1st or is that just their current "until at least" date?

My business is closing stores in communities where they are required to, with the phrase either "the foreseeable future" if there's no date attached or "until april 3rd" or whatever if that's the current mandate from the govt. It will be reassesed at that time or a bit before to see if we need to extend the closure. It doesn't mean we are actually planning to reopen april 3rd.

So yeah, the bell economy is generally fucked. My buddy was really in wonder of the animal crossing discord with all of the trading of furniture. Some rare items going for hundreds of thousands, some stuff actually going for a million.

It was like "damn, some people are really on the grind and want nice stuff!"
