I am disappointed there is no word of a skill refinery, I was sure that was where they were going with introducing these powercreep skills (just like they introduced Slaying weapons before the weapon refinery last year). But beast units finally coming is pretty hype. It looks like Tibarn can move 3 tiles as a flying unit, but, presumably with some transform limitations.

Yeah I enjoyed 6-6 perfectly well for what it was. I had seen a lot of negativity towards it so my expectations were low, but it was just a fun time interacting with the OG characters. But the actual mystery solution was a little underwhelming.

Yeah it's pretty baffling. To be fair, the colorless CYL option was the best choice both times. But that in no way makes up for nine straight months of Grimas.

Anyway, this banner is kind of boring, and Hrid's weapon seems a little too situational. Guess I'll keep saving up for January.

Yeah, I saw it. It's not completely horrible but it is pretty underwhelming in most aspects. The actors were pretty good overall, especially the Green Goblin himself, and the technical stuff was pretty incredible. There is a scene at the end where they do something with the set that blew my mind.

But overall yeah not the best. That concept you gleaned from the song is relevant to the actual show for maybe two minutes after that song is over.

I agree that in terms of the actual performances we see in the games, Blackquill would be higher. But I don't remember any lines of dialog about how amazing a prosecutor he's supposed to be like we had for the other ones. I could be wrong though, I don't remember DD very well. But I was going for sort of "gameplay and story segregation", as much as that could possibly apply in this series. What's more impressive, being allowed to prosecute as a prisoner or as a 17 year old?

Let's also not forget that I'm taking this tack after three lighthearted Superman movies so that I can close out the tenures of Reeve and Hackman. Both are done after this movie, and I won't get Superman again until 2006.

Or was it just that they stopped making Reeve/Hackman movies because III and IV were so bad? Maybe they would have kept going if there was better reception for them. Or maybe the actors were just done with the characters either way, I'm not sure.

I went back and watched Superman II recently and was surprised at how much I disliked it. It did not age well at all imo, so much of it was contrived and nonsensical and there's like five minutes of things just moving away from Zod right before the climax. But it seems like most people still regard it fairly highly as comic book movies go. Your version does sound better.

Well, Jamke is one of the easiest GHBs. It is kind of nice after dealing with the two Abyssal maps at once, but it does still seem like they don't know how to make things difficult without throwing reinforcements at us.

I managed to beat Abyssal Robin. Took a ton of tries but I always felt like I was on the right track with my team and initial positioning. Haven't managed to get that feeling from Abyssal Marth yet. :-/

I'm a little underwhelmed by these units tbh. Yeah, Hector and Ephraim seem kinda broken but IS making broken armor units is old news at this point. Veronica is kind of interesting but I wish she had been a flier instead. And Celica...............
