I wonder why they're lowering the turn count for PoL. It feels like with fewer rounds you could get screwed over more easily by the RNG not giving you the units you need for max scoring.

Wasn't the last new heroes banner FE5? Why wouldn't they want to split up the Japan-exclusive banners instead of having them back to back? Weird. Can't complain though, happy to save up my orbs for the A Hero Rises banner after the VG.

Also, even if I did care about these people, I would be tempted to boycott this anyway for the new round of Duel skill BS. Guess it's confirmed that they'll be adding tier 5 skills in a year and a half when 180 bst is useless.

I assume the Kris banner won just because of Spurn. With the anti-DR meta picking up it might not be quite as crazy as it was before, but it's still a really good skill.
And yeah, I assume the Lelia banner will be out of the polls next time :(

Easily the best anniversary so far, although that's not a high bar. They found a way to "demote" the old 5*s without actually demoting them which might make summoning more interesting at least.

I am a little annoyed though because I had been expecting there to be x2 sp and exp (if not x4) for a while and there's nothing. Bleh.

Huh, Thracia over Echoes. Pretty surprising. Even if I did know these units I feel like this would still be a pretty easy skip; the skills and stuff all seem fairly underwhelming. Except Sara's kit looks pretty nice, but I don't need more healers.

Hahaha I love that Bernie tome animation. Her actual weapon effect is pretty weird though. The thing that interests me most is actually Odd Recovery but I think my orbs are relatively safe. Unless they psychologically bait me by giving out a bunch of summon tickets.

The most interesting thing to me is that it looks like there are two special banners this month (Christmas and New Year's) and then also still a New Heroes banner in early January. Wonder if there will be a third special banner in mid January too.

Yeah I"m surprised they're letting sparkable banners in the poll so soon. I guess they figured (probably rightly) that no one cares enough about units that were added more than a year ago because of how crazy powercreep has been. But they should let us vote to revive a seasonal banner with sparking instead (and its tempest instead of a Forging Bonds).

I never expected Xane to get in in a million years, though it stinks he doesn't have cool mechnics to accompany him.

Did you see his weapon? It's not quite as crazy as his real mechanics but it has potential to make him completely insane. I am super excited that he's the 4* focus this time, probably the best one they've done besides young Marth.

A Disgaea 5 Complete Game Trial will begin on September 23, 2020.

For those new to the concept, heres a how Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial works. As long as someone is an active member, they can go to the eShop and download a full digital copy of the game to play for the duration of the trial period. Your save date is the same as a normal version, so you could then buy the game after the phase ends and continue where you left off if you didnt finish.

Yeah Crafty isn't strictly better than Vengeful; there are definitely some armors who would still rather keep the special buildup I would think. I am really happy Ilyana is the demote instead of Gatrie but it is a little annoying that they are color sharing.
Jill seems a bit underwhelming for being the star of the banner but my god Shinon looks like a monster. I will definitely spark for him.
