This is one of those topics where guys really have no idea what work women have done for the most part, and only notice it when it looks vaguely inhuman. So it's an issue of confirmation bias. There are women walking around everywhere with filler and botox and all kinds of s*** that you'd never notice, because you wouldn't be able to tell.

It's like makeup. Guys like to say "I don't like women who wear makeup, I prefer natural faces like this", and then point to a woman who is already wearing foundation, concealer, lip gloss, etc.

All the Hobbit movies are bad, but the first one at least is servicable bad.

Five Armies is one of the worst things ever shat out, ignoring all the worse things.

The first person who caught on to him was a (I think) radio personality who had her life turned upside down when the FBI forced her to continue her invesigation into him because she thought something was fishy.

I dont necessarily think that atheism is automatically more logical and objective. Not all religion believes in an all powerful sky man that casts non-believers into a fire. I think a lot of people cling to religion in hopes of understanding the afterlife

1. Atheism is merely rejecting an answer rather than proposing idealogy. Which defacto makes it simplier and less complicated.
2. Atheism accepts "I don't know" as a valid answer to a question. Religion does not. Which IMO makes it less logical

Are you regularly interacting with right wing politicians? When is there a point youre being any type of atheist in the presence of these people?

im not saying it doesnt matter, im just saying that in day to day life being atheist will rarely have an effect on anything. I dont know any of the views or beliefs of anyone i work with.

Right wing crazies being insane is the status quo, if they didnt have religion theyd just find some other reason to be awful. Many of them dont even truly believe in religion, they just use it as a cudgel to hate minorities and lgbt people.

I have very rarely had arguments about faith throughout my life, and im agnostic at best, and from Texas. Unless youre constantly in like, religious situations or something, how are people even going to know if youre atheist or not unless youre bringing it up?

However, I've heard that in the Southern USA, there is more condemnation towards atheism. Like my friend will see about going on a date with a girl, and if suggests a church date or asks what church he goes to, he considers that to be a pursuit that isn't going anywhere. Even where I live, around a major metropolitan area in the north, I could see atheists being viewed as spiritually lost or even hated in certain communities.

I went from being edgy atheist to a mellow atheist. No one wants to hear atheists ramble against religion anymore than any person not seeking religious words wants to hear someone ramble about their own religion or some aspect of their religion. I've learned there is almost never a worthwhile reason to engage in spiritual or lack thereof discussion unless both people want to and it's in a personal or positive context.
Because I've been in metal and am a big fan of that style that turns the kind of Satanic black metal imagery one would see into something cute, I've had people try and go on me about God. When I was younger, I just stood politely as they rambled on. The last time, I realized how old I was, and just told the guy that I wasn't going to listen.
