Please don't fall into the hole of misplacing blame. Yes, there is an element of RNG bullshit in Hearthstone. Yes, you can play better. Rather than settle for blaming RNG, try to get someone to watch your games and give advice.

Bought some packs and made Rogue. Not really sure how they win now since it's been a while since I've played as one. I have auctioneer and a lot of cheap spells, giants, voss, corpse flower, etc. Questing too but thinking about taking them out for something else maybe? I don't know. Made the Death Knight too. I wish Bronn and Jaime got captured. It would've skipped over a lot of the unnecessary shitting about to get to KL and everything. The only things we would've missed out on there are the Gendry scene and another scene with Cersei telling Jaime not to betray her but at the same time being pregnant. Those could've been moved around.

This would have given Dany an olive branch to offer to Cersei to make her trust more sensible, or she could just have Jaime deliver the wight after they get it.

I mean, it makes sense for Cersei to acknowledge that the war is lost and she has to win through subterfuge, but this would have more securely marked that Dany is in the position of power, Cersei has to agree to her terms, but gives her time to scheme.

They're obviously trying to set Jaime up to slowly lose faith in Cersei, but it feels pretty sloppy.

Did enough happen in the first episode to warrant it not being the de facto worst though?

I still way enjoyed episode 3, and think that we still have to wait and see if half the stuff that happened this episode is worth anything, but things happened. Things developed.

Though I AM mad that Bronn and Jaime weren't captured.

I'm wondering if Cersei is really pregnant. What if she's lying because she knows it will keep Jaime on her side? And I was SO scared when she asked him if he wanted to punish Bronn. I was like "... no YOU DIDN'T!" Good thing she didn't.

I don't know if I'm happy or mad at the show for being self-aware enough to do the "thought you'd still be rowing" line.

Kinda mad Dickon died. Mad at Sam for being one second away from hearing that his buddy Jon was crown prince.

And what was the fucking point of Jorah's greyscale plotline? Did they just think it made no sense for him to be by Dany's side sailing to Westeros? Did they want him to be used as a plot device for Sam to earn respect from the Maesters? Sam just left, sooooo...


And we had the perfect moment for Jorah to say "I was cured by a man named Samwell Tarly" then Jon could've been like "oh, he's my bro", then Dany could chime in with "oh I just fried his family alive". They just completely avoided that awkward issue and I feel cheated.

I had zero issue with the Dothraki versus Lannister/Tarly depiction. It's not like the Dothraki godstomped, and the shield wall was highly effective. Horde charge != single combat on foot, and an attack like Drogon's sows the type of chaos in which the Dothraki could gain an advantage of the knights' discipline breaking.

You can also recall there's little likelihood that every fighter on the Lannister side would be so well armored, if you like.

Yeah, I have issues with most of the dumb things but I'm not too worn out by this one.

The men weren't properly armored... they were stated in episode as having been marching for awhile. There was a dragon. Robert said an open field is death territory.

I kinda wish Jaime said something like "as long as we hold, we'll win", but maybe that would've been way too on the head considering the oncoming dragon.



Concerning everyone talking about the Trial of the Seven... if you have to pick seven characters, isn't it just people with Valerian Steel?

I slept for like ten hours and at one point I had a dream that I was in the cave with Daenerys and two things happened

1. A soldier I can only assume was Han interrupted us and pointed out how stupid the cave paintings are

2. Presumable-Han then snapped that Jon has a weird thing for women in caves, too

When I awoke, I felt lost, confused, disappointed, and betrayed

I don't really care about the cave fetish tho


The cave paintings just feel like the most convenient plot element I've seen in the whole show.
