Pretty much. It's why, by the end of Ungoro, the best Freeze Mage lists were running things like Mana Wyrm -- they just needed that extra push. But Freeze Mage got nothing from KFT, while Druid got so many new tools.

I'm 10-1 with this Control Warlock deck. I love DK Gul'dan.

Yeah I was playing whatever the Tempostorm list was a week or two ago -1 Devolve, -1 Mana Tide, +2 Hex (seemed a little better in a Lich King meta? Dunno). I don't really want to craft Thrall until things settle, but I'm still having fun without him.

Last night I lived a dream I didn't even know I wanted to live.

Priest stole my 10/10 C'thun.

I killed it with a shield slam and the second charge of frostmourne.

Played four more buff cards.

Killed another one of his guys and summoned back an 18/18 C'Thun.

He conceded.

I kinda dislike Bonemare, it's like the most boring kind of "good" a card can possibly be.

I feel like the game want me to play priest, but I don't want to craft Raza.

I have Lyra and Raza and Kazakus which leads me to getting DK Anduin, but Uther and Malfuion are also very cool

I know, machine gun priest intrigues me greatly, but I can't commit to building a kazakus version this early, I don't have the dust to make bad impulse crafts.

Ended up going the N'Zoth route with my DK hunter. Climbed up to about rank 12 last night. Floating between 55% and 60% win rate so far.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one where I beat a paladin who played two spikeridge, two tirions, two consecrations, and DK Uther.

I know the abominations aren't exactly great synergy with the rat packs and infested wolves, but I was just in a hurry for a good deathrattle/taunt in that slot so that's what I'm going with for now.

Oh and that replay thing doesn't quite display zombeasts correctly. But basically on the last turn when I have 1 health I got timberwolf with charge which is pretty much all that could save me.

Optimally, you reroll all 40's and 50's (unless you have a full set of quests, of course). It turns out the actual average quest value is just under 60 (59.8, IIRC, but don't quote me on that). (Note that quest probabilities are weighted, so the actual mean isn't the trivial norm.)

Like almost all the cards in the deck are already good. The main issue is that if you want to go infinite you need doubles. Like I play the deck without any dupes and the only card I might try to fit in is velen. But it's like if you can time lyra right you don't even need him

The main issue though is that if he survives or you can revive him you can a lot better versus dead man warrior and dk mage

Pretty good start to KFT arenas - after a 10 win hunter and two bad Priest/Hunter runs (3/1 wins), I wound up with a random Druid deck going 12 with one and a half 2-drops.



Innervate and Wild Growth did a lot of work, Ultimate Infestation did its job several times, and Deathspeaker/Corpse Raiser were pretty solid.

I just bought a few packs and decided to throw together a divine shield paladin deck which is fun.

It would be much better with the DK Paladin and/or some of the paladin class legendaries.

I'd like to play priest, but the only priest legendary I have is the guy that makes 1/1 copies of your minions in play. No Raza, no Lyra, no Velen, no Anduin...that's a steep hill to climb.

Since I crafted Raza, Lyra, AND Anduin I have everything except Velen (and Vol'jin for you Wild players). And let me tell you, he's looking more and more desirable now that blast priest or whatever is a thing.

My poor dust though. :/

Yeah, poisonous is so nasty with build-a-beast. A guy played tirion and left my 1/1 up. I popped the shield then killed tirion with a poisonous dispatch kodo.

It's taking me a while to get used to new expansion arena. First run after release was ok but my 3 arena runs since have been 2-3, 1-3, 1-3 and in my latest run I'm currently 2-2 with a janky ass control mage I have no confidence in winning another game with

I have Tirion and Light Ragnaros, but no deck to put them in.

So what decks have actually been rocking the meta? I've been mired up at 17-19 because I was playing wild before the expansion, and I just see weird stuff in that range.

I feel like I'm winning games because people just don't know how to play their deck yet. Either that or they aren't used to seeing new hunters. Maybe a little of both.

That got me thinking. Just checked and the only new cards in my deck are Putricide, Corpse Widow, and Deathstalker Rexxar.

Arena #2
I was Offered: Warlock/Mage/Warrior
I Picked: Warlock

Not really into picking Mage anymore. Seems like when I play against a Mage they always have every answer available but when I draft a Mage I don't draft jack shit. Also right now I have a quest to win some games as Warlock so we'll see if I get lucky here.

Draft: I didn't get any good synergies but I did get a few removal options and almost never was forced to choose an outright bad card. It's just a standard mid range warlock with a few of the new cards that are hopefully broken enough to carry me.

Game 1: Vs Druid. I went First. And I drew a one drop. Neato. Seized tempo early on and pushed face damage since Druid doesn't haven't great removal options. He did manage to regain control of the board in the mid game but with very little life left. And since I still had Hellfire available I just used that to finish him off once I got 4 damage to stick to the board. Win.

Game 2: Vs Rogue. I went Second. Complete garbage opener. I basically whiffed turn 1, 2, AND 3 and had to coin tar lurker on turn 5. At which point he plays Elise the Trailblazer and I realize we are competing with two completely different levels of deck quality. Well he had the better deck, better opener, and better draws every turn. What do you think happened? Loss.

Game 3: Vs Mage. I went First. Good opener. VERY Frustrating early game as no matter what I put down he always had something better and top decked every answer available. He basically went insane aggro for the entire early game and I finally ran him out of answers and seized value in the late game. Win.

Game 4: Vs Warlock. I went Second. Drew the heavy half of my deck in the early game and was top decking the light half of my deck in the late game. This ended up being a long term value game and I suffered as a result. Abyssal Enforcer for lethal after a hard fought match. Is this... going to be a common theme with this deck? Win.

Currently at 3-1. Results have been good so far! I'll continue this run tomorrow, though. I think I'm done for now.

Nah. They have no removal outside like 3 cards.

Not really important when they're at 10 mana and you're at 5.

After playing some more I'm convinced that, like how Quest cards always start in your opening draw, DK cards always start at the bottom of your deck
