I'm pretty sure they meant carrying a balance and paying some small level of interest
I was told something similar ages ago. After almost two decades of having and using a credit card, I feel so long as one is paying off yer balance regularly, keeping yer balance relatively low compared to yer maximum credit, not opening too many new cards within a short time, not taking out massive loans close together, etc, etc. yer credit score will slowly rise over time.

Plus unless yer going for a massive loan (i.e. car, house, business, etc.) keeping a high credit score, to my understanding, is that not important. It is important to have a score and start somewhere but to actually need a high score is situational.

Yellow posted...
They kind of exist to profit off desperate or... bad spending... people.
Funny enough, I recalled someone on GFAQ telling me banks supposedly prefer clients who regularly pay off their balance over those who keep carrying a balance and pay interest. Supposedly the former is more reliable and banks still make money from all those small transaction fees whenever one uses a credit card whereas those who keep carrying a balance and paying interesting, they might not be as reliable in terms of profit.

.....represent that culture if they have dedicated themselves to learn said culture and respect it? Maybe even adopting it to be their own? By represent it could anything from performing certain music, being a chef for traditional dishes, teaching the language, etc.

This thought came up while I was listening to some Gaelic music and found out there are only some 50-60k Scots who are able to speak that language. It crossed my mind of what if some non-Scot wanted to learn the language and teach it. Would some question that and feel only Scots should be allowed to teach the language?

Now my mind crossed over to Cornelius Boots to apparently received some flak for his performance at E3 in 2018 but he is supposedly one of few dozens of renown musicians for the shakuhachi flute. I recalled my younger self used to think only Japanese chefs are capable sushi chefs but now I feel so long as one has the dedication and skills, one's ethnicity should not matter.

I myself am born American but of Chinese descendants. I do not doubt there are non-Chinese who are more Chinese than me in terms of knowing the culture, food, history, traditions, etc. Being a typical ABC, there are certainly some who speak the language better than me.

Do you believe it fair for someone born outside of a culture to essentially represent that culture through the music their perform, dishes they prepare, classes they teach, festivals they host, etc. if they have dedicated their time to both learn about and respect said culture?

Comments and opinions are appreciated,

Thank you

How would one define rpg?
I think I asked this once in PotD and recalled everyone had their own answers. Nowadays I wanna say roleplay elements have been stretch pretty far into various other genres but very few dedicated RPGs seems to offer you that sense of freedom to do whatever without breaking the game. Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura seems to be one of the few RPGs in my opinion that offers you that freedom within a certain confinement.

It captures the tone of Baldur's Gate rather well, I'd say. The gameplay definitely uses Divinity as a base, but it doesn't feel like I'm playing Divinity at all, really.
Interesting. When I watched a demo video, I was not sure if it was doing to be more on the Baldur's Gate side, more on the Divinity side or a mix of both. Does it carry over any of the ol DnD rulesets or gameplay is more Divinity-like but with the atmosphere and setting of the Forgotten Realms?

Best seems subjective so I will go with favorite three in no particular order:

JRPG:
Crono (Chrono Trigger)
Ramza Beoulve (Final Fantasy Tactics)
Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI).....personally I feel FFVI has multiple protagonists.

WRPG:
The Nameless One (Planescape Torment)
Commander Shepard (Mass Effect series)
JC Denton (Deus Ex).....stealth game with RPG elements?

Hah. I do not think I ever liked that area proximity build limitation of the Command & Conquer / Red Alert series. Felt like it limited us the ability to take advantage of chokepoints or whatnot. Granted I often used artillery units or blimps, in Red Alert, and force attacked the ground. AI, for better or worst, would just walk through without fighting back.

A decent human being would look at the position, be realistic with themselves and say Its probably not for me. Unfortunately most human beings are greedy, see that pay raise and dive into it without checking for water first.
On that note, friends and I were recently discussing this. One friend and his company has it setup where management positions are not the next step for higher pay. Engineers can work toward senior engineer positions with better pay that exceeds that of the managers. Their mindset is they want managers to be people who wants to be managers and not just for the pay raise.

Another friend and his company has it setup where becoming manager is a must if one wants more pay than the top engineer positions. I know of some engineering friends who wants to continue working as engineers but unfortunately for them, a pay raise requires almost giving up that aspect of their work.

1. I wanna say if the numbers are known, there miiight be a way to logically guess the sequence/amount based on human psychology or whatnot.

2 & 3. Doors/gates unlocking during power outage seems too much of a trope so shocking/smashing the lock does not seem that different. Granted it would make more sense for the lock to stay locked when the power is out or the lock is damage with a manual override nearby for emergencies? Or would the manual override also be silly?

4. I cannot help but feel this is probably the most realistic security flaw.

5. This one always get a laugh out of me so I chose this one.

That is kinda how I see it. I have friends who immigrated over and their parents worked minimum wage jobs but through hard work and dedications, they (my friends) are now living comfortable lives and with successful engineering careers.

I would be more willing to heed the advise of these people because their experience is more relatable compared to heeding the advise of someone like Jeff Bezos. That is not to say I will diss Bezos and his advice but rather it would be difficult for me to grasp starting where he started.

We deal with material handling/storage (i.e. storage racks, cantilevers, shelves, gondolas, etc.) like the ones seen at Home Depot, Wal-Mart, retail stores, warehouses, etc. We do not design/manufacturer the stuff. We just analyze and get permits for the owners to install/load them. We do have a fabrication shop but they deal with custom storage stuff which I do not deal with. There was a puzzle they were sure involved pushing something but woulda involved more than one finger strength and they did not want to risk breaking it. Turns out they were correct and for whatever reason that puzzle was designed to require way more than just one finger strength to push.

My Scouts recently did a virtual escape room where the host would share stuff on the screen and the participate would need to tell the host what to do and the host in turn would describe what is happening or what is being shown. In areas where social distancing is still enforced, I admit that is a creative way to keep the experience going.
