| Inviso 02/19/18 10:23:34 PM #369 | See, this is why I'm arguing. It's not anti-Ross so much as pro-Metta. Metta was great and was my favorite character of the season. I just dislike the whole "Metta is a quitter" argument. Because let's be real here...there have been four evictions and Metta could've gone home in THREE of them if he really wanted to push the issue. This round really feels like Ross was going home if half the veto players won veto. But Ross himself won the veto. And it was a veto where he could pull two people off the block. It essentially fucked Omarosa over in a literal worst case scenario. She noms anyone BUT Metta, and there's a chance that Ross (who has alliances with literally everyone in the house except Omarosa and Metta) could pull a second nom off the block and force Omarosa to have nominated half the house just to potentially lose Brandi or Ariadna, who were two of the only people she'd been working with or plotting with at the time. Nominating Metta wasn't ideal for Omarosa, but it wouldn't make any waves and it wouldn't further damage her position in the house, plus he wasn't gonna get upset about it like some others might. --- Touch fuzzy. Ross winning the veto was an absolute worst case scenario, especially since it was a double veto which would mean Omarosa would have to either betray Mark/James (possibly both since Ross could double veto), and there wasn't even a guarantee that Brandi would stay in that scenario. Given that Ross with a double veto was an absolute disaster for Omarosa's game, she took Metta's whole "I wanna quit" persona that he's cultivated the past three weeks, and put him on the block to take a bullet for Brandi. Had Omarosa, Brandi, or Metta won veto, this does not happen. Ross stays on the block most likely (or Marissa goes up in Brandi's place to guarantee the votes are there to boot Ross), and Ross goes home.
