I thought things would change after high school, that I'd find a job I'd enjoy, make some friends, buy a house, get travel a little, find a gf, get married and have kids. Instead, I stayed a loser, work a dead end job that I don't care for, have no money, no friends, live at home at an embarrassing age, can't manage to find a date... So all my biggest life goals are out the window and I have nothing to look forward to. --- Work in progress, please be patient.

KogaSteelfang 07/12/20 6:58:25 PM #9	In one sense, yeah. I was never allowed out, or have anyone over. Mom was over protective, dad was ashamed of me. So I never really got to experience any of the world outside of home, the classroom, or work. In other ways, not at all. The ones I should've been protected from were in my home. Was beaten, abused, constantly mentally tormented. Nearly died several times, and one attempted murder on me. My mental state has been garbage for most of my life, and honestly I'm not sure it's something I can recover from. So, even though I was technically sheltered, I think I've experienced more than my fair share of trauma anyway. The actual sheltering honestly just feels like another layer of abuse. --- Work in progress, please be patient.

Then they pissy since we still have some statewide restrictions, and safety measures corporate wants us to follow. They don't want to follow any safety protocols, then shrug off the risk of getting sick onto us here. "If I get sick, I know it's because you didn't clean good enough!" Or, y'know, its because you needed a cross country trip to visit possibly infected friends and go fishing. We can only do so much, people need to start protecting themselves. --- Work in progress, please be patient.
