That boss is meant to teach you something
running away to give space is a vital mechanic
a few bosses will use the entire arena so you need to move them around
in dark souls 1 if you haven't beat the boss of that specific area then every enemy you kill can drop 'soft' humanity. You can kindle a bonfire for double the flasks (for that boss the bonfire above andre the blacksmith should be kindled as it will also be used later for a new area)

You could also technically summon up to two AI summons for that boss.

how are you with kicks?

smash attack comes from smash bros where you push the stick and do the normal attack at the same time

another way to think of it is if you are using a controller pad and you basically press both the stick forward and heavy attack l2 or trigger at the same time

think of it as the same input as a smash attack

I basically said I dont know what Id do. For the reasons I listed.

Impossible to tell from today. Id like to say yes, but it woulda likely be suicidal to do so. Not to mention information was mostly spread by the state, so who knows if Id even know the truth of what my own government was doing.

When you give communities of people the freedom to come up with their own ways of doing things, and there isn't any authority or driving market force that naturally narrows these competing options down (think Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD where hardware compatibility and production cost drive the need for a consensus industry standard), you end up with lots of options.

The other important thing to keep in mind is that these terms mostly formed within separate communities with differing cultures and their crossover usage, while seemingly meaningless to us, might have significance to those members of that community wishing to identify themselves to other members. Someone with a PhD may prefer to be referred to as "Doctor" because it identifies that they are part of the academic community. Someone who is a fan of a certain band might wear a t-shirt with the band's logo. And just because the differences are not obvious to those of us outside the community does not mean they do not exist. A member of the US Marine Corps, for example, would likely strongly object to being called "soldier" despite an outsider not seeing a meaningful difference between the two.
