Recent updates:
* Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts in the Manhattan, NY criminal trial.
* Jenna Ellis law license has been suspended for 3 years. Shell likely face more disciplinary action because of the Arizona indictment unless she somehow escapes charges. Shell have to petition for reinstatement after the 3 years is up assuming she doesnt have more action taken.
* Steve Bannon lost his appeal. Hearing next week. Possible that the judge will order the federal bureau of prisons to set a report date for him.
* Pretrial motions still ongoing in the classified documents case.
* Pretrial motions still ongoing in the Georgia RICO case.

I actually saw a video the other day about the world record for this mini-game just recently being broken, lol. Some guys were shooting to be the first to hit 30k points and ended up with ridiculous RNG on the most expensive sushi and hit 40k+.

So in order for the records falsification to be a felony crime it must have been done in conjunction with the commission of another crime. There are three potential crimes that have been spoken about. The jury instructions are that they don't have to agree on a specific crime unanimously just that the all have to agree one of those crimes was proven.

You get the occasional ones like Ed Hochuli (NFL) being known for his jacked arms or Dick Bavetta (NBA) being known for his foot race against Charles Barkley and just being old (reffing until his mid-70s), but for the most part, umps/refs only really get well-known if they're notably bad at their job.

Not really. They compressed part of the season to accommodate the Olympics and WNBA scheduling is further limited by the fact that people usually don't turn up so games are never a venue's priority.

The most recent matchup was the Fever's 7th game of the season and only the Ace's 4th. This is also probably partly to do with the W over capitalizing on Caitlin Clark while there's still hype and forcing her to play as frequently as possible. If the Fever continues to suck she'll get called a bust and the W will go back to being largely a joke league.

The first random other team I looked at (Liberty) have a similar 7-in-12-days stretch starting this week. Looking more, I'll concede the WNBA schedule is less condensed than the NBA's that I was thinking of, but "sabotaging" is a little much, lol. Every team at least has a 6-in-11 or two, not that out of the ordinary.

Rip, but looking at his stats, he wasn't as good as I thought.

His career was devastated by injuries, so his prime was extremely short. He was one of four players to win collegiate player of the year 3 times. Champion+Finals MVP and runner-up for regular season MVP in his 3rd season, then won MVP the next year, then pretty much didn't play for a few years. Came back later and won 6th Man of the Year while helping one of the GOAT teams win the title.

Minnesota was awesome, never lost their confidence and fought hard every step of the way. Denver looked kinda gassed (the way they made other teams look a lot in last year's playoffs) and just got outplayed. The depth concerns they had coming into the season rang true and MPJ was a complete letdown (25 points on 35 shots across the last 4 games is inexcusable), culminating in a complete no-show by the role players in game 7 - 21 points on 28 shots by everyone but Jokic/Murray.

Which is not to totally clear those two, because Murray had a pretty bad postseason overall, and while Jokic was still awesome overall he was less consistent and efficient than we've come to expect. And Gordon didn't score much in game 7 but otherwise this had been a strong playoff run for him; he was a big reason for the turnaround after game 2.

Awesome to see Ant continue to make these strides to superstardom. Big props to KAT for the work he's putting in defensively and playing smarter. As a Jazz fan, I'm happy for Gobert and Conley. This is a fun team that's been pretty easy to root for, and they have a legit shot to win it all.

If innocent people are losing their jobs over it, absolutely I'm going to tell.

Alaska dropped the requirement for a front plate a couple years ago, and soon after the DMV started only giving out one plate.

A lot of the "travels" that people complain about aren't actually travels, they just don't fully understand the rules (often as simple as when steps actually start to count). Not to say there aren't also things like starting the dribble too late, switching pivots, or carrying that get missed, but I think a lot that are either missed because it's hard to see in real time, or let go if they didn't give an advantage.

There has certainly been a shift over the years in the way fouls are called when offensive players initiate contact - wanting defenders to get back their right to legally occupy their own space, basically, is not the same thing as wanting the dirty hits and such back. I do think people who complain about too many whistles/stoppages may not realize that the modern era has the FEWEST foul calls ever, but there are still legit complaints about what does and doesn't get called.

Yeah, consistency in reffing is, well, the one consistent complaint most people have, lol.

The controller that came with my Series S developed some stick drift, but Microsoft sent me a replacement without even requiring me to send the original one back. That replacement and 3 other Series S/X controllers are still working perfectly.

I've managed to avoid drift issues with my joycons, though I know I'm probably lucky there. My Switch Pro controller has also been working perfectly.

That day? For one, because she was in the hospital, lol (a fairly common thing, genetic condition).
We'd already had a sexual relationship in the past but weren't compatible as a couple. A few charged moments over the years, and now and then she'd want to show off a little like that, but ultimately we were better off not going down that path again - now I'm happily engaged, she and her bf have a 5-month-old, and we're all friends.

A friend offered to send me a "slutty pic" for bringing her food. Been playing rec league softball (both coed and men's) since I graduated high school, it's always a blast and I've met/gotten closer to a lot of friends through it.

The hate that gets thrown at it online is so weird to me, lol. It's a harmless bit of fun to stay active and social, and like 95+% of people don't take it very seriously aside from maybe the highest men's divisions.

LeBron isn't signing for the minimum, and he and his agent have recently said that playing with Bronny isn't a priority.

Even if that did magically happen, LeBron at 40yo and Steph at 37yo aren't winning a title with that cast.

Oh yeah, I think I'm an episode or two behind.

I just bought a Solterra. Happy that it doesn't have the giant touchscreen that controls everything like other Subaru models - this one's more reasonably sized, and there are dedicated buttons for volume and screen power (physical buttons) and hvac controls (at least they're all displayed right there and you don't have to go through a laggy touchscreen).

Yes, I have a pair of work slacks that I like a lot otherwise, but that damn zipper falls down several times per day.
