And its solely because, somehow, every boss in that game is worse than every other boss in every other Kingdom Hearts game except MAYBE the Young Xehanort in 3D.

Whose idea was it to never have the bosses flinch when you hit them? To have every boss potentially knock you out of a combo? To make your basic combos boring in favor of just mashing the Triangle button, which is the NEXT problem.

Commands are stupid.

Yes, they LOOK nice, and you get some good commands really early, so its cool when you can stomp enemies with shit like Fission Firaga or that one command that freezes your enemies while you wail on them with really powerful hits, but... theres something wrong here.

The commands that will help you sweep regular encounters are the same commands that will absolutely get you killed really quickly during boss battles. I know some of you are saying shit like But PK_Spam! Thats good! The game encourages you to change your command deck for each fight! Thats a good strategy element! Except it isnt.

For every playthrough for each character in that game, I pretty much had two different decks. One with the AoE spells that wipe out enemies in an instant, and one with things like Thunder/Fire Surge or whatever, that provided tons of invincibility frames with respectable damage. And pretty much the same Shot Locks. And I would spend every boss fight the same way. Just mashing he Triangle button and occasionally healing until the bosses were dead. And Dodge Rolling when I wasnt doing that. It was SO boring. And dont get me started on the fucking bonus bosses which were a whole OTHER thing.

Im gonna go and say the thing that hundreds of other people have also said, tens of times already. Every main character is BORING. Like, Sora isnt the epitome of good writing either, but hes... fine. Hes good and reliable, and genuinely a likeable guy. Id be friends with him for sure. But the BBS trio are just... products of the plot, and arent people. Like theyre supposed to be friends, but they go and do that meaningless angsty shit about how Terra, or Aquas stupid I care about my friends, while clutching her fist to her titties. Or Ven being... Ven.

Why was this a game? This is like the Chamber of Secrets of the Kingdom Hearts franchises, except whole Chamber of Secrets at least had some stuff going on, BBS is just you going through the story, hoping for something substantial to happen, and the game saying Oh well! Nothing really meaningful happened in this world, but maybe the next world will have an important plot bit that isnt fanservice that you wouldve already known from KH1/2. So keep on playing ;)

Its like one of those stupid shows on tv that dangle the solution to the shows overall mystery and then, at the end of the season gives you a bullshit cliffhanger and tells you to tune in next year so you could MAYBE get the answer youre lookig for. If the writers feel like it.

Idk, I just get really mad when I hear people praise BBS as THE best KH game, when even shit like Chain of Memories is better structured.

6) Half Blood Prince (as far as I remember)

7) Goblet of Fire

Chamber at least had some stuff going for it. Goblet of Fire was SUCH a hot mess. Its the Two Towers of the Harry Potter movies. Except instead of at least having some of the best parts of the franchise like Towers did, Goblet has... the ressurection near the end? That meme of Harry opening the Mermaid Egg and instead of shrieking we get Iggy Azelea freestyling? Like... shit! Chamber had the scene when Dumbledore cancels the exams for the year and you see Hermione mouthing Oh no! in desperation. That by itself is enough to keep it from being the worst one.

A straight up magic high school bullshit thing.

I mean, it is a bullshit magic high school series, but when you get down to it, magic is just a tool the characters use sparingly. Its the main trios deductive reasoning that lets them figure out everything they need to. The actual magic is kinda a backseat to everything. More so in the earlier books.

I guess I have a type, because Ive always been fascinated by the Nazgul (LotR) and the Dementors (Harry Potter). I even still get a bit of a jolly during the Phantom fight in Kingdom Hearts 1.

Geez, I really hope KH3 has more bosses like that. Ive always loved wraith-like monsters. Theyre so goddamn cool to me.

Working with some coordinators for conventions, so its a LOT of walking on hard concrete in dressy shoes, and some lifting when the temps they hire are lazy (they only get paid $9 an hour, so its understandable)

At this point, Im just glad I have work. The only reason Im even tolerating Florida right now is because Im leaving for sure in a few months. So knowing that... Im okay. The job isnt ideal, but its alright

I thought Id be super disappointed because I got an email yesterday about how I didnt even get past the first round of thisnwriting fellowship (you need a letter of recommendation from someone in the industry, which I dont have). Im a little bummed, but I think Im gonna resubmit again next year, so its no biggie, I guess. I dunno, guess Im just doing better than I thought, and needed people to share it with.

So after Harry and Ron take out the troll and the professors come, Hermiones all like Yo profs. I was taking a shit when the warning for the troll came and Rom and Harry came to tell me. I wasnt being a haughty bitch who thought I could handle a troll by myself, because why would I even conceivably think that when I can tell the truth and not get into trouble.

Seriously, what was the point in her lying. She was literally caught off guard. And crying in the bathroom.

Also Moaning Myrtle didnt warn me about shit even though shes... loudly moaning in the next stall over. Makes it hard to hear when a 1 ton creature is sauntering over to bat my head clean off my body.

Yo tell me the story

The whole story is basically there but...

Sammy was paired up with this hot and well-liked blonde chick for a project or something. Or maybe she was just being nice to him and decided to be his friend. So Sammy comes to us and says that she followed him on twitter and how he was SO close to dating her because she totally liked him. Along with, iirc, some comments about how hot she was.

Some guy here asks him to link to the girls twitter so we could all see what she looks like. Sammy stupidly agrees.

Pretty quickly, a few people here message the girl and link her to the topic where Sammy was talking about her. Girl was understandably upset and told everyone at school. Sammy gets (more) ostracized. He was very obviously one of those awkward kids who sat with the other awkward kids at the lunch table, so his life before PotDrama probably wasnt super fulfilling.

I found it funny at first, but then realized this is the type of shit people kill themselves over, so I tried to descalate the situation with a few other people.

Yeah, Im doing some shitty little thing at this convention center place for a while, but its a temp gig for just a few weeks. Dunno whats gonna happen after.

I live in Orlando, which is... pretty much just 81 (the highway), John Young Parkway (this road you can reach EVERYTHING on), and housing complexes that range from shitty to pretty decent.

My sister LOVES it for some reason, probably because were renting a house, but I dont think its that great. And I havent seen a single place of culture OR random people walking around shirtless. Thats probably exclusive to the coastal areas like Fort Lauderdale or Miami.

College grads, dont try to start your professional life down in Florida. Go to a big city. It might be more expensive, but youll have a MUCH easier time getting employed in places that dont practice bullshit like Right to Work, where you can be laid off at any time for no reason.
