And one of the things I eventually want to get on air is an animated show, so the fact that she writes something off because its a cartoon pisses me off, because a lot of people still have that mentality that things that arent acted by actual people in front of a camera suddenly arent valid. This is the same woman who genuinely enjoyed Avatar TLA back when she was 16, but now sees it just another cartoon that isnt any good. --- |

| PK_Spam 03/01/18 8:14:01 PM #1 | Im totally gonna get made fun of for this. Go ahead. Im a nerd. So Im watching My Neighbor Totoro with my niece. Super influential movie and overall just one of the greats of Animation, if not all of cinema. My sister walks in while its paused, sees that its animated, an immediately dismisses it as another shitty cartoon and that she shouldve known itd be bad, because I recommended it. But she doesnt get to say that, especially when she enjoys Keeping Up with the Kardashians and ESPECIALLY when we watch movies together every week, and whenever she picks one because the title card looks good, it always sucks (Our most recent watch was The Ritual... yeah...) And I know its stupid that Im genuinely riled up about this, and it probably says more about me that Im still hung up on this 30 minutes later, but... what the fuck? Shes spitting on the face of one of the most iconic movies ever, and not even for a good reason. Just because its not live action. Were literally in the middle of an animation revolution and she up and says that *grumble grumble* At least my niece really likes the movie. Her main take away is that she wants to sleep on her stomach on top of a pillow like Mei did with Totoro. And she also wanted cucumbers after seeing the characters eating them raw. Tl;dr: Im a nerd and my sister said My Neighbor Totoro isnt a good movie, based only on a single frame. --- |

I don't want to spoil it for you, but here's some great tidbits. 1) The lion is a vegetarian, also his mom died just like Mufasa 2) The love interest in an Elephant 3) The antagonist is also an elephant, but he's pretty much Scar from the Lion King, and he gets pretty much the same villain song. Complete with a Nazi march sequence. Also, Leo the Lion "fights" him in a Scooby Doo doorway chase scene. 4) Leo is a vegetarian, and isn't fucking scared of him. 5) The sidekick wants to fuck a chameleon 6)We get flashbacks of scenes that played out less than 2 minutes ago 7) There's a... scene where everyone forcefully sucks the milk out of an animal. And it's just as rapey as I'm making it sound. 8) The lion fucks the elephant love interest. And their children are a cross between their species. And it's horrifying. I'm gonna thank my niece for making me watch this. Someday. Also Matt Mercer voices the villain. --- |

The nerds do prank wars all the time, and the drama geeks act as obnoxious as fucking possible anytime they can. Even in class. Oh, and everyone is horny. And someone every student gets away with having sex all the time. Even in school somehow. But not EVERYONE is having sex. The nerds arent, but theyll be obnoxiously obsessed with getting to second base with a girl. Also, those nerds dont ever talk to the cute nerd girl for some reason. But thats okay, because the cute nerd girl is going to fall in love with the hunky jock, who is also being pined over by bitchy cheerleader. Oh, and therere different classes of students to. And get ready for this one!!! One of the students is...gay!!!, but that is juxtaposed with him being on the football/other sport ball team!!! Isnt that crazy! He struggled with his sexuality until one of the obnoxious drama geeks turns him on with a hackneyed monologue from early 2000s sitcom My Wife and Kids. Oh, and theres a girl. And shes abused! But not by her mom, or her dad. Shes abused by both!!! Her dad wants her to be a fashion model. Her mom wants her to be a veterinarian. Will girl manage to survive high school under the thumb of her abusive parents? Or will she... end it all... or will she be saved by the conventionally attractive, but not supermodel hot, boy next door? In PotD High, there are no tests. No education. And no old teachers! Because theyll all hot and either nailing each other, or nailing the (of age, of course!) students. Everyone is PotD High is 18. Even the freshmen. --- |
