Played the original about 30 times against a myriad of peopleanytime a friend or relative would visit Id teach them to play. Pantheon expansion is a great addition. Really spices up Age 1 and then makes Age 2 almost feel like the endgame. Have you played that Seabass? SMuffin, how do you like the game? --- |

I was following Taran on Twitter and he's given off no indication this was the story. If this was Metta making a calculated move for the betterment of his alliance, fair enough. Still shit that he's got no fight -- and that's something I hold people accountable for -- know what you're signing up for. The fact that he stuck around for 3 weeks is amazing, but to exit early after a "let's be honest with ourselves" self-eviction isn't pretty. And it won't sit pretty with the viewing audience nor does it do any wonders for the edited season. It was a huge letdown from a story-telling perspective even if you want to spin it to say it was strategic, or that "hey look on the bright side at least the guy who wanted to leave finally left." I watch this show for the thrills, from the gameplay to the humor. Eviction night on BB, at its best, is about the culmination and climax of the momentum from the entire process of the week leading up to it. From a results-oriented perspective this might be OK, we lost the guy who wanted out, and it was pretty funny what he had to say about it, but man if it doesn't do the past hour of my viewing experience any favors in the short term. I also think it hurts what BBCeleb has had going for it in the big picture: the casual audience was feeling it. Tonight only damages that good will, and it wasn't even productions fault. --- |

It feels like the writing has almost no subtlety. Really fascinating premise with some decent characters, but the interactions Kristin Bell has with every side character has me wanting to shut it off so far. Im trying to figure out why Parks & Rec, The Office, and other shows that are kinda similar really hook me, but this isnt. --- |

I hate clickbait too and try to avoid it, but if it's going to help grow your channel, go with it. I look at clickbait as doctoring up your front door - you put up the lights, the wreath, the flashy decoration that everyone else in the neighborhood has, but you also know that what you have inside your house is WAY cooler than everyone else. Or, at least, it's worth checking out just as much as the rest. As a small channel you kinda need to swallow your pride, especially in an over-saturated market. Or be radically different. --- |

| Peridiam 02/15/18 10:51:47 AM #15 | Not sure what advice I have to give, but I will say that my brother started his own musician channel years ago (Social Repose) and at the beginning had very little traction (as expected). He decided to focus on rebranding and changing his image -- and he went hard. Over a year or so after his channel blew up, largely because of his rebranding. He tried to find an element that would set him apart from everyone else and it worked. As for myself, I started my channel (https://www.youtube.com/Peridiam) to fit a niche in the market that I saw was lacking. I wasn't sure if my content would stick going in, though. I didn't realize what I was doing had a name, but it's basically "video essays" that focus on competitive reality TV. I wanted to make video game content too at one point (on a different channel), but I just saw how steep of a climb it would be and became discouraged. Part of why I decided to make my reality TV channel was because I saw that nobody else was doing it, and that it would instantly be different from everyone else in the RTV community. --- |
