I haven't commuted to work since March 2020. I do prefer to wake up 1-2 hours earlier than my official start time, but some days I stay in bed until I absolutely need to move. My weekday alarm is 6:30am for a typical 8:30am start.

If anyone else here has been trying to get a new graphics card over the last year, then y'all know the struggle. I've been entering the Newegg Shuffle lotteries nearly every day since March and I actually got selected!! It was one of the combo entries with a curved 1440p 165hz monitor, too, which is perfect since one of my curved 1080p 60hz monitors broke a few months ago.

This isn't the last component I need for my new build, but it was absolutely the hardest to acquire. happy happy joy joy~

Also, all the old bigshots that left the company in the last two years. They left because they knew this was coming, afterall the investigation has been ongoing since 2018. And this is Blizzard we're talking about. There have been stories before of things like this going on. There's really no reason to suspect this isn't real.

I don't know what people mean to imply when they say "it isn't real". Like, the action is literally real and filed in court lol. And as you said, it's the result of a two-year state investigation. This isn't one individual taking another to court by serving them papers on a whim.

California has statutes in place to 1) investigate financial and sexual discrimination in the workplace and 2) to enforce penalties when companies are found in violation of said statutes.

On a human level, I'm more worried by the group of individuals that are automatically assuming all this is real, when the allegations have yet to be proven in a courtroom.

The only reason this had to be taken to court (and this is a civil action, not a criminal one) is because it's the last legal option the California state agency had to levy.

I used to my Android phone to spoof amiibo directly for Animal Crossing (didn't have print the .bin onto a separate tag, connected via bluetooth), but one of the Switch updates made the method I used obsolete. Technically you can still do it, but you have to root your phone.

I got a free Fitbit from my insurance company for getting a physical, and it's helped me keep track of my steps better!

Wow, lots of updates! Congrats on the new home and relatively-new child! I hope your family can settle into the house over time.

I'm at the point where my condo feels like my home (I've been here for 3 months), but I'm really trying to save up to give the place a face-lift sometime within the next 5 years. It's a 93-year-old building and the last time my unit was updated was the 1990s. I can't wait to upgrade both bathrooms, replace the flooring, and hopefully get a pantry built in the kitchen.

That's similar to me! I built mine for Christmas 2015 and it's showing its age a bit these days. Obviously GPUs are still a bitch to get, but I'm going to move forward with my planned build and keep using my GTX 1060 unless I get lucky otherwise.
