Theres definitely options, yeah, but I also dont think its as simple as just jumping into something new either. Im fairly comfortable with the work I do now so it would be tough to throw that all away.

Hopefully you figure something out. The issue is, being comfortable doesn't mean you are happy. I was comfortable with my last job but I still got bothered a lot by it, went back to school and outright left them a year before they closed doors. Now, I am comfortable AND happy at my job. Being happy and not-bored is very important IMO.

It overwhelmingly received a lot of criticism on the PS3 board but I LOVED it. I put 1,350 hours into that game in the first 7 months. Did everything possible. Got platinum trophy and still played for hundreds of hours for fun and just helping people.

I made 5 of the best swords for my characters so I always had all 4 elements of fire, ice, wind, earth and one non elemental sword just for magic enemies. I highly enjoyed the Georama aspect it that was definitely influenced from Dark Cloud series. I enjoyed decorating my little georama and filling it with townspeople and then farming items after quests.

Such a good game. Ive always been a Level-5 fan and feel that game was really good honestly. Fun single player story mode and an awesome online. Enjoyed the quests, the gameplay, the art style, the saturated bright color palette. Just an all over great game to me. Will always be one of my favorites on PS3.

I am curious if I ever crossed you. I spent 1500 hours in both those games. I loved it a lot. I miss it so much, lol.

White Knight Chronicles came out and took influence from it. Wasn't as great as people hoped but I loved it.

Schools never do anything about bullying. As someone who was bullied throughout middle school, no one ever helped me.

....But there was one day I was getting dismissed from school and my bully was behind me giving me flat tires. My mother saw him in the hallway doing it. When we got up to her, she walked right beside him (and this was during class change so the halls were busy) and very audibly, she walked beside him saying "Ohhhhhhh, is this that cute little Johnny? Awww, what an adorable little boy you are!" and other things like that that turned his ass red.

I will never forget that. Funny enough, next year we went to the same trade school and went into the same shop together. He was never an asshole to me there. At all really. >_>

The funny thing is, those tariffs just come back on the buyers, because we still import because it's still cheaper for companies to outsource to China. So when they have to pay more, why not push that cost onto us?

Do you have that kind of an option? I always hear hospital pharmacies are also a lot less stressful. But I don't know if that is even an option in your state. Surely you have experience. Or maybe you can get a job with clinical trials and be someone who works closely with my company. 8-)

You didn't work and that's a plus. Assuming work is making you miserable, I assume if you were to do your job in a more private pharmacy, maybe you'd be happier. Assuming you work with general people

Alright let's move on, tell me about the first time you staffed at a con?

That was this year. I worked dealing with AMVs at Anime Boston. I had a lot of fun. We had ran a gameshow to which I would run around the room having audience members pick themes out of a hat, and helped Emcee the event with my friend, who is the coordinator of the room with her husband. I ran my own 30 minute panel to see how it was and that went great (pretty much pets in anime).

All we really do is just monitor the electronics while AMVS played for the crowd mostly, so not too much excitement to state in the actual event running for that reason, but I liked it!

Post-event, we went to my friend's (the coordinator) hotel room and about 8-9 of us played some card games. (Exploding Kittens + That's Not A Hat) .... which lead to so many fun times, we were all having good hearty laughs.

Next year, I plan to run my very own gameshow. I want to run a 'Watch this AMV and answer this question based on the video'. I think it would be pretty fun for the attendees. :)

Not really. Almost exclusively Within Temptation. There are songs I also enjoy from Sirenia and Nightwish for sure.

Not really gothic metal but I know The Birthday Massacre kinda has some vibes that lean that way and I like them a lot too.

Looks amazing. I only really have 3 food goals when I go to Japan in a couple years:

1 - Eat at chef Morokitchis Omurice restaurant
2 - Eat at an expensive sushi restaurant (even though I'm not a huge fan of fish, this would cement whether or not something could change my mind)
3 - Eat proper Ramen/Udon/etc

1 - I tried. I didn't reserve though so it was expected I didn't get in there.
2 - I did this with fugu pretty much. Did have conveyor sushi too though. Fugu is chewy as hell.
3 - Had a great bowl of ramen. Best Ramen I ever had bar none.

I thought so too. But it's interesting. Within Temptation's style crossed with a pretty deep-sounding rap. It didn't go too bizarre with it at all. Been a Within Temptation fan for ages now. It's wild how this song became one of my favorites so fast.

.... OHHH, and The Whole World is Watching is great too. WT is my favorite English-singing band by a long shot. I probably know more of their music than any other band.

That's a tough call. Probably "Gekiai Merry-Go-Round" by Psycho Le Cemu or "Coyote Colored Darkness" by GLAY. "Vamos A La Discoteca" by Paradisio is a massive earworm for me too.

Sticking more localish, "And We Run" by Within Temptation + Xzibit is really great. The Matt Copley version of "Defying Gravity" also ear worms me.

I mean, with all the music in the world, it's rough. Especially for someone like me who listens to everything.

Does your brother know any Japanese? How horrible would it be to visit for someone who knows no Japanese?

He can read some katakana and that's about it. Katakana is very easy for English speakers to read once they learn, since that character set is used for foreign words. Example:

Hiragana - (Ne-zu-mi) - Means mouse
Katakana - (Ma-u-su) - Means mouse

Hiragana - - (I-nu) - Means Dog
Katakana - (Do-ggu) - Means Dog

They recommend learning Hiragana first but Katakana is where people start feeling like they can read Japanese.

I think if you stay in the big areas like Tokyo's neighborhoods and Osaka and such, it's very doable. These cities are made for visitors practically.
