Had this sitting around for years and years. Knowing it was essentially the Wii Sports of the 3DS, I wasn't expecting much in terms of depth, but it was a nice little distraction during quarantine. I may go back someday and try to 3-star the missions that I only 2-starred.

This is why, conceptually, the worst advantage in Survivor history is the Idol Nullifier (even if it resulted in one of my all-time favorite blindsides in its first appearance). It's an admission that there are just too many idols out there, so instead of having there be fewer idols, they add yet another twist on top of a twist.

Tony going home in an Advantagegeddon wouldn't be historic since Cirie, a more popular and iconic contestant (you can debate by how much but she's definitely ahead of him) already went home in such a manner.

The more historic scenario would be Tony somehow getting a hold of an advantage himself and the entire Dakal tribe renders themselves immune at TC.

I'm a bit tuckered out on TAR for now so I'll watch a few other things before I get back to that.

Not that I'm ecstatic to get back, seeing as I have left 21 (passable), 23 (bad), 24 (dumpster fire), 26 (passable), and 28 (bad). I shouldn't have skipped ahead to the good seasons in the 20s, but ce la vie.

The top 5 on Sucks' annual countdown are Sandra 1.0 and 2.0, Cirie 1.0, Courtney Y 1.0, and Peih-Gee 1.0

The highest ranked male was Sean Rector at 33rd, the only male in the top 50.

Filming for 41 and 42 have officially been postponed. 41 was set to commence filming later this month, and has been rescheduled to the end of May, which is when 42 was scheduled to begin.

Given that this is actually similar to the filming schedule of years ago, I'm not worried about it affecting their regular fall/spring broadcast schedule until otherwise stated.

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if this affects casting. People plan months in advance to take this time out of their regular lives. As with the suspended TAR33, it's very possible that some contestants who were all set to take March/April off now can't get June off.

As I said though, we also still need to vote two more people out before the merge, unless you think we're merging in episode 9 with 13 people plus a second returnee (or in episode 8 with 14 people plus a second returnee), either of which would mean two post-merge double boot episodes, plus the now-typical three boots in the finale (with a returnee challenge mind you), it would make for an extremely rushed, convoluted, confusing and chaotic (in a bad way) post-merge that would absolutely murder the season.

Maybe I'm underestimating Probst's ability to screw this up but I really don't think he does.

There will be two people voted out next episode. Probst said "both tribes will vote someone out," not "go to tribal council." And even if that's still 1% ambiguous, we still need to boot two more people by the merge, which should be the episode after next.

Thank God for Bopper & Mark keeping this season watchable.

Brendon & Rachel actually aren't quite as bad as I remember them being. They're still bad, but have enough episodes/moments where they aren't bad that I'll probably slap a purple on them and keep them out of my bottom 2.

Art & JJ weren't THAT bad for the first half of the season (they were nowhere near likable but not like, all-time bottom 5 bad), which made me think I may have been overhating them in the past due to everyone else hating them, but no, they took a nose dive in episode 7 and have only gotten worse since then.

The winners are tough to stomach, especially knowing they win, but at least I was expecting them to be bad.

Vanessa & Ralph are probably my second-favorite team and that's a damning indicator of just how badly this one leans on the Kentucky boys. I may not put it in dead last, but it's bottom 5 for sure.

While it's already been mentioned that EoE is officially out for both 41 and 42, it seems fire tokens will indeed be back. Furthermore, with the coronavirus situation, filming (and consequently airing) could be delayed.

Weird thing that crossed my mind - I wouldn't be surprised if at least one team can't continue to participate with the new filming schedule and they have to withdraw, the race already underway they can't replace them. Phil would basically just have to narrate the circumstances and they may show a shot of them at home talking about their time on the race.
