I played a few hours of it and it definitely felt like a Tales game in spirit but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try again someday.

I didn't like it as a kid because, being green, I expected it to taste a bit minty, but I actually quite like it as an adult.

This is actually true in Muppets canon, look it up.

1. Downtown Train - I just love this song. It's got such a nostalgic feel to it.
2. Time - This one made me tear up a tiny bit.

4. Union Square - This one had me dancing in place a bit. :)

6. Diamonds & Gold - Reminded me of "Chim Chim Cher-ee" musically, and lyrically of the Old Joe scene from A Christmas Carol. I liked it.

8. Blind Love - This was the hardest song for me to rank. It has a lot of the melodic and lyrical elements that just absolutely endear me to a song, but something about it just doesn't come together in a way that makes me love it.

10. Singapore - I hadn't listened to this album in almost a decade before now. This was the only other song besides Downtown Train that I remembered.
11. Clap Hands - If I had listened to this out of context I might have thought this was Dr. John.

14. 9th & Hennepin - Gets points for being interesting. I don't find too many spoken-word-over-musical-accompaniment tracks on music albums.

I noticed a couple of those on the list while I was hosting, where the percentage can't be a whole number of the vote total. I've heard that this is not like Octopath though where you can go through each character's story in a single playthrough. Is each character's campaign in this like a full-length RPG, or do they add up to one?

Very interested to finally try Klonoa. I remember finding the series interesting when the GBA game first released, even thought I never tried it or even bought it until I found it in a $2 bin at GameStop (never played it though).

I mean I certainly wasn't overly excited about every single new game but in terms of pure "Holy shit!" moments to "Yeah whatever" moments this one had a great ratio, even if the "Holy shit!" was more out of surprise than excitement.

Mario Kart 8 DLC means Mario Kart 9 isn't on the horizon, so I may as well cave and buy 8 Deluxe, especially since the DLC is included in Expansion Pass.
