I don't think you understand what "Mount Rushmore" means

I will say this Survivor cast has really grown on me. When I think of a "dud" on this show, I think of someone who fits both of the following:

-Brings little if anything to show show in terms of character/personality
-Is more-or-less inconsequential to the game

And since I'll usually give the benefit of the doubt to someone who that happens to through extenuating circumstances (for example, being unnecessarily medivaced in episode 3), I would say Tim has been the only true dud of this group.

They've had bad legs but they're acceptable racers who have made some mistakes. Sunny & Bizzy, Kishori & Karishma, Anthony & Bailey and Maya & Rohan were all actively terrible at the race and the first half of the season was (marginally) more exciting for it.

I have this in my Steam Wishlist for 5 years and never actually bought it

@Nanis23 it's good enough to get it on sale. I played it on Wii U when it was new and I enjoyed it enough to give it a modest recommendation.

I was honestly still hanging onto the bizarro-edit Q win but this episode once and for all murdered that, burned it and pissed on the ashes.

I guess Kenzie is my new winner pick but I haven't really been scrutinizing it too much.

The edits have gotten so much better at making everyone stand out, from 41-46 there are MINIMUM 6 or 7 people per season that I could feasibly see being considered for All-Stars. So the pool of realistically potential returnees is pretty large.

Oh, still fuck Feebas. I recognize that I got lucky and I think it's still a great candidate for worst Pokemon period.

Yeah if I were to rank every Pokemon from worst to first, I think I'd bypass the Lickilickys and Simipours of the world to put Feebas at the bottom.

I also found Feebas very quickly. I don't think it was on the first tile but it was very close. Like within the first five.

Went into Friend Safari looking for either a Shiny Ivysaur or Oddish and got a Shiny Oddish on my first encounter.

Three of these are absolute locks:

Iron Man - The original and still widely regarded as one of the best.

Black Panther - Massive commercial and critical hit that was nominated for the Oscar for Best Picture and drew a whole new audience into the MCU and to a certain degree theaters in general.

Avengers: Endgame - The second-highest grossing film of all time (was #1 at one point) and the finale to a generation of superhero films.

So I have one spot left, I'll give it to...

Guardians of the Galaxy - My personal favorite film in the canon and not an unreasonable pick for a fourth spot. It's often cited as one of the best and introduced this relatively obscure team to the public at large, spawning a very successful subseries and a pretty stellar video game.

Yeah that's fair. I DO think Micronesia and HvV are a little overrated but I think it was fine to have returnee seasons at those points in the series (Micronesia was season 16 to All-Stars being 8, and HvV for S20 was expected). But from 21-34, literally half of all seasons had returnees in some form and many of the returnees were either highly questionable choices or "here's CBS's current golden child for the 80th fucking time and if you're sick of seeing him you're not a real Survivor fan" and it got ANNOYING. Having an All-Star season every 7-10 seasons that consists mostly/entirely of people from that set of seasons is honestly ideal and it seems like that might be what 50 is going for. Like, now that we've really chilled on returnee seasons for a while, getting a season with like, Shan/Emily/Jonathan/Carolyn/Jesse/etc all together is going to feel as fresh and fun as seeing the HvV cast did.

My double unpopular opinion is that a) I don't like returnee seasons much anyway so I'm glad there's less (I think the essence of Survivor is 16 strangers figuring each other out, and returnee seasons with pre-gaming and legacies just isn't the same, though they can be very fun)

I don't think this is a hot take at all. Returnee seasons are great as a novelty but the problem is that from basically seasons 16-34 they were SO overused that people began to hate them.

Notoriety definitely plays a factor. I've said before in the Whitney vs. Morty debate that the average first-time player is probably better prepared for Whitney than for Morty at their respective points in the game, but Whitney's Miltank is just so infamous that she's become the posterchild for difficult fights in GSC.
