Most of the ones I've seen seem decent enough tbh, the ones that suck are usually western adaptations. The original Death Note live action films are pretty good compared to the terrible Netflix adaptation (imo). Other ones I liked were Gantz, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), 20th Century Boys and Kozure Ookami (Lone Wolf & Club.)

Assassination Classroom was good shit. And that's normally not the kind of show I watch.

And I also teared up a bit.

Everything you said applies to me lol, I started watching it because my little brother recommended it to me and it was pretty funny but I never thought things would get that emotional near the last episodes. Loved it.

Isn't "newhalf" a Japanese term/slang/whatever for transsexual?

(newhalf) seems to be quite the broad term I've read it's used to refer to transvestites, transgenders and transsexuals (both pre and post-op), its use seems exclusive to MtF though.

My rule is to have my absolute favourite albums in FLAC and everything else in either Opus, 320kbps CBR or V0. Sometimes I have to make due with 256 AAC though >_>

If I ever buy a couple of new external drives then I'll store everything in FLAC there.

Yes. In fact, I have every device (that has a language setting) set to Japanese to create some sort of artificial immersion. Since I can't afford constant trips to Japan nor do I live there I need various ways to maintain the vocabulary and grammar I've been learning. At first it was incredibly bothersome (especially when it came to using some software like Adobe Photoshop) but now it even feels kinda weird when a device I own isn't in Japanese.

What one must do to learn the language one loves.

EDIT: I must mention though, when it comes to media I always prefer the original voices, no matter the language.

Of course. It used to be that you had to buy a PC compatible arcade stick but nowadays I think any arcade stick that works on a Xbox console works for PC too and I think there's even a workaround for the ones that are only supposed to work on PS4.

I have never watched anything Fate related because it just seems too convoluted at this point.

I watched the 3 series that are on Netflix (Zero, UBW, and Apocrpha) and I understood the stories of those just fine.

But yeah, I ventured over the Fate Wiki bc I was interested and I had no idea what I was reading lol. Way too much wacko shit going on. The anime are good and pretty self-contained tho.

lol, I might just do what you did then. Can't deny the series seems pretty interesting :P
