Wow now that is definitely a hot take. The only KH game with a plot I like is 1, and that was the most straightforward no BS one lmao

I honestly don't know why games and movies with weird convoluted plots attract me so much, but it's been a constant in my life. If they have some (or a lot) of time travelling included, even better.

-. Final Fantasy is better now than before.
-. Chrono Cross is one of the best games of all time, and it is a pretty good sequel to Chrono Trigger tbh.
-. One of the reasons Kingdom Hearts is good is because it's convoluted.
-. Pokmon games have never been good. They're just worse now than they were before.

There's more but I don't remember right now lol

For me, Final Fantasy, like, by a long ass shot. And I like Persona quite a lot. For all the criticism the FF series gets, I very much like the fact that they do different stuff often.

Then again I'm quite easy to please lol, I've liked most FF games I've played >_>; there's like two I found boring.

TopicWhat's worse; a game that is Too Easy or Too Hard?
Yomi
10/29/25 12:41:57 AM
#45
Too easy is worse for me. I mainly game on PC so if the game is actually so difficult that I can't possibly play through it, making it easier through cheats is doable. If it's too easy I can't really do much to counter that tbh.

This is all assuming it's a single player game. If it's multiplayer difficulty doesn't matter to me since I just have fun doing silly stuff with friends anyways.

I was keeping up with news about it fairly regularly since I'm originally from the Dominican Republic but naturally, as it stopped being an immediate danger to my family I stopped getting news about it >_>;

But yeah it's an absolute monster of a hurricane, a slow one at that too. I hope Jamaicans are able to pull through.

I have very fond memories of Chain of Memories. It was my first Kingdom Hearts game and basically my way of coping with the fact that I was a kid with no access to a PS2 and I wanted to play Kingdom Hearts I and II so much lol.

Like, I used the KH 1 website like, on a weekly based just because I was amazed at how cool it looked.

Congrats.

I'm in my late 30s. Compared to my 20s, I still had a lot of energy, but my stomach is more sensitive and it takes longer for me to recover from stuff.

My advice for you (if you haven't already), don't wait until your 50s to live a healthy life. Get some exercise everyday (or most days), lift weights, eat as good as you can, and go to the doctors at least once a year (dental, physical). Get blood work on cholesterol, sugar, blood pressure, etc. If you are on borderline for anything, best to find out now and keep it in check. QoL matters as you get older..

Start putting some investment in your company 401k if you haven't already, as well as stocks, if you have the extra money to do so. But depending on where you live (country), always good to have emergency cash.
Thanks chief! Really appreciate the advice. I already go to the doc once a month because I got my bad luck in the genetic lottery and have been dealing with high blood pressure since my early 20s lol, but it's manageable with meds at least.

Seeing people call xilia2 the best gameplay is funny to me since every time I've played a tales game it's been as a multiplayer game and the gameplay is sooo bad then. protagonist character just has way more going on than everyone else, including a super mode that literally despawns all the other players and you just play single player for a bit, which also happens to be by far the best way to deal damage so you can't just not use it either

I also play Tales of games mainly as multiplayer games and I still think Xillia 2 has an amazing battle system, easily one of my favorites in the series alongside Vesperia and Graces f. Ludger is busted, no doubt, but that doesn't mean you have to play as him all the time if you want to have a good time in multiplayer. The rest of the cast is incredibly fun to play as.

I used to mainly play as Gaius and my brother as Elize and we had a lot of fun making up crazy combos.

Also I'm a brown Muslim. When I went to Japan everyone was super loving and constantly asked me if I was OK whenever I seemed lost, sad, or upset. Japan may have racists, but it's way better than America IMO in that regard.

I've had a similar experience. I'm Dominican, a stereotypical looking brown Dominican at that. I've been living in Japan for almost seven months now and I couldn't be happier. I've made some great friends and I feel a billion times safer here, both in terms of physical safety and freedom to be myself. Considering I was born in one of the most dangerous neighbourhoods of Santo Domingo, that's a great peace of mind to have >_>;;

Sure, it isn't perfect. But tbh on the internet it's either Japan is perfect or Japan is worse than hell, it's quite tiring lmao.
