The only outfit I've stuck with is Mios season pass color. It's pretty much perfect

I like the colors on the flash fencer outfit, the only ones I think are ugly are the medic gunner one (the green really sticks out with the rest of the games color scheme for outfits being pretty muted) and some of the Yumsmith outfits for similar reasons

Mio is the only character I have permanently in her season pass outfit because it's just so damn good. Everyone else I switch around for the most part. I like Eunie in Flash Fencer a lot though. Also Taion in Strategos

Does having a hero with a class boost cp gain for that class if you don't have any of your characters using it? My only war medic is Lanz who is already at a 10 with it, and nobody else has it unlocked yet. If I use the hero for it does that count?

i somehow never saw it coming that riku and manana would be a hero. It is the most obvious thing in the world but even as the quest started I'm just like nice they're getting some characterization, cool. Still not sure who the heroes gonna be

I do every unique monster but my gains have slowed to a crawl. My eunie has been a flash fencer for probably 8 hours straight now, but the first few classes I was using all got maxed out pretty quick. They definitely lower the numbers when you're over leveled for the area. I've started running past fights since they give no XP. Hopefully the game can catch up with me soon but it sucks because I like doing all the side content but hate feeling like I'm almost getting punished for doing so. Being able to de level would make the game a lot more enjoyable the way it's set up currently

I honestly can't tell if I'm doing well with chain attacks or not. I'm still in chapter 3 - I always get the full amount of rounds but I often struggle to hit Bravos and above (much easier now since getting Teach so I'm guessing heroes just make a huge difference) but I'm hearing people say how they're averaging over 1000% damage and hitting for millions meanwhile I've topped out at like 170k. Am I missing something or is the other type of order I'm guessing that unlocks by plot actually that huge of a gamechanger?

I'm in this boat as well. I still dont know what the ouroboros chain is, I only ever get the normal ones. Im guessing you need to unlock those before getting crazy damage out of them.

The affinity stuff was ridiculous but also strangely addicting. The Blade quests being the best part of the game made the gacha stuff even worse yes.

As more of the game is explained I'm really wondering where nopons come from. Do they not mate and give birth? Are they clones? Do they spontaneously generate as natural phenomena? The affinity charts have them listed with much older ages so they're definitely not the same as the humans, but they seem to treat the human system as the natural way of the world.

Nopons are supposed to be ... opportunistic. If the past games hold true their role is really to just make money. But they definitely give birth and mate and do all that other human shit

I spent 3 hours mapping out the desert today and still didn't finish. I found out the desert turns into the place the story wants you to go if you walk far enough though when I got a cutscene by accident so that was fun

How do you get war medic? I already have Guardian Commander and Thaumaterge which are after it on the list so I feel like I missed someone

Eunie and Lanz are probably my two least favorite so far so that's funny. Not that I don't like them because I do, but if I had to order them they'd be at the bottom. Everyone else is just so sympathetic and they are more...headstrong

First hero quest spoilers

Consul B was bullshit lol. Took me 5 or 6 tries and each fight was like 20 minutes -,-. I ended up winning by using 3 healers because the only real issue was that if both of my healers died I couldn't win anymore since I was reviving people like crazy to keep up. Having both gems that make reviving heal more and go faster were key for me. I wonder how different that fight is on normal because I felt a bit unprepared for that

Yeah I was on my way to the first optional hero quest to unlock someone in colony 9 presumably not sure who yet but that's when I ran into the menace that was househunter Carly lol

Ok I used all my bonus xp and then beat it 3rd try. Even when I was 3 levels up on him. I wish I still had the first hero you got. Having a 7th person would've helped a lot

The accessory you get for beating him is scholar necklace, 'increase class aptitude'. Anyone know what that means? More cp or something

Edit: oh yeah I also needed to equip the boost damage to aquatic life accessories on both my attackers, as well as actually switch to playing as an attacker so I could use the bonus damage for cancelling gem and get real effect off of it. Ive been playing whoever I had as a zephyr up until now because they were the most fun class to play but I went back to Noah for this fight because it was too hard. He's my flash fencer for now. I'm assuming he's always the inheritor for flash fencer anyway

to be fair a currency system has never been takahashis strong suit, xenosaga 2 they just got rid of money and shops completely because they didnt feel like dealing with it

yeah im assuming there will be a point for it later because these random accessory shops ive seen so far with only common gear when you get 50000 drops from enemies do not seem to be it

I haven't actually tried it but under gems there's always two options one for crafting and one for with coins. I assumed they were gold coins

Once you get access to the enormous desert area, there's a cave right around the middle of it you can go through to get to the merchant. That's the only one so far I've found, they sell some pretty powerful accessories at the higher costs. 99 gold coins, which I'm getting close to, nets you an accessory that let's the equipee revive people even if they're not a healer.

That seems kind of underpowered for 99 gold coins. I'd rather get a max cost gem then that. Maybe if you wanted to run a team with no healers on it it could be useful though
