How do people manage to play PS1 games on the Vita? There aren't any L2/R2 buttons and using the back touch panel is really hit-or-miss and uncomfortable.

You could customize the controls in the options, so like for Armored Core where you'd use them to aim up or down, I'd map them to the right-stick to simulate modern camera controls.

I haven't fired up my Vita in a bit, but Tales of Innocence R finally got a fan-translation, so thinking out going through that~

I did an experiment with one of those. Ad featured the usual scantily clad women that gachas tend to, so I tried it, uploaded a short video with the EXACT same thumbnail they used, so clearly they thought it was appropriate, right?

Almost immediately got an email stripping ad revenue from the video and making me change the thumbnail for being inappropriate. Got a good laugh out of that.

Perfect IVs are a complete non-issue to get now since raids hand out Bottle Caps like candy to max them out, so the only issue is getting mons that like having spreads with 0 Atk/Speed IVs. Getting a full competitive team EV'd/IV'd up is really quick with that, vitamins no longer being capped at 100 EVs and Mirror Herb allowing a mon to get Egg Moves whenever.

Depending on the exploring you'd want to do, I'd say the story is anywhere from 20-30 hours, Teal Mask adding another 5-7 and Indigo Disk adding another 10-12 unless you're bringing in powerful mons to steamroll them.

Part of it is that mono-Normal just isn't what it used to be. Was a killer type early on when Fighting mons generally sucked, but it's a hard sell in a meta where Zamazenta and Great Tusk are everywhere.

Dondozo is built really similarly to it and has remained in OU since launch, so maybe a regional variant/Mega/Paradox with a better typing alone could rocket it back up

Been playing the series since '99, SV+Expansion Pass are far and away my favorites in the series.

Actual good story, though stumbles a bit at the end of Indigo Disk, fun movement options with Koraidon/Miraidon making the region a joy to explore. Glitches have always been overblown, since I've put over 500 hours in and had a single clipping issue that resolved itself almost immediately.

Healthy amount of new Pokemon that are mostly all winners outside of Flamigo being the single worst design in the series.

Performance absolutely does take a major hit in a few areas. Casseroya Lake, Tagtree Thicket and parts of Savannah Biome unfortunately run like shit, especially if a weather effect kicks in.

Easiest games to shiny hunt in as well, with Level 3 Shiny Sandwiches just about guaranteeing one will pop in the half hour if you're quick to despawn the non-shiny ones.

Tera Raids are hit or miss. Definitely prefer them to Max Raids, but 7 Star Event Raids are a bit of a pain solo and a massive pain online if the other players aren't following meta strategies.

The admin and moderation teams have never been serious about taking transphobia seriously. Politics board was rife with it for years, proving they either dont know what it is when they see it and are thus useless for any actual help or are fine with it.

Definitely watch the cutscenes for Re/CoM. 2's opening stretch is really special and it loses some oomph when you don't know about Chain. But playing it right after 1 isnt a good idea since most of it is just an abridged version of 1 with a worse battle system

I do cosplay builds nowadays and I don't deviate from what powers or abilities they have unless it makes sense to add it. Not even to defeat a single boss.

I gave up on the Senran Kagura mega-character, but I'm still doing cosplays. One I thought of that would get a double-take is Roserade (Yes, the Pokemon). I also want to do Cynthia (also Pokemon), Palutena (Kid Icarus), Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers), Rozalin (from Disgaea 2) and I kept Hibari as the lone Senran Kagura character of the bunch.

I NEED to see that Roserade one in action, that's genius

Fire Giant wasn't bad for me, Scarlet Rot makes the fight take care of itself.
