Anything that I'm ranking that I haven't finished is something I intend to get back to someday (though in the case of these lower ranked ones, it might be a long time). I almost certainly wouldn't get back to Kaguya before this ranking was over, so if you want to use your recommendation to speed that up, that's fine by me!

Sad to see Kaguya here, probably my absolute favourite. I do agree it could get repetitive if youre not into the premise at first, but the character interactions beside the main pair is also great and they did try to change things up a bit at the end of season 1, so the rest of the seasons are definitely worth watching.

Actually Ill just go ahead and use the recommendation for Kaguya S2 and S3, unless you really dont want to get back to it at the moment.

Well I caught it few days ago
It was a nightmare

Didn't like what they did with Date, last game it was explained why he was horny all the time, yet he is pretty much the same here. Since it is a continuation of the true ending of AI1 I thought they would build on Falco more, but didn't because they didn't want to spoil the first game or something.

Also it seems they went for Psyncs way to quickly without really trying to interrogate them. Like you sense someone is hiding something, and the next moment he's on the Psync machine, yet most of the time th Psyncs don't reveal anything important or shocking at all. I felt the story didn't flow very well because of that.

Finally not a big fan of the big twist. I personally enjoy reveals on how the crimes are committed, yet it turns out that mystery isn't anything special and it's just the game tricking me through unreliable narration.

M2 ending:

Man everyone is being dumb at the end especially Gen and Amame just to get a cliche death scene. I thought the mermaid was pretty cool last time but this time she basically spent the most of the game (so far) sitting in a shop, being sad, and being traumatized. Gen is also super unhelpful. I have no idea why Mizuki suddenly went from investigating the body to getting arrested either.

Wait what? I'm super confused. We just concluded that Komeji was the one who moved the mystery body from the amusement park, but didn't he die six years ago? And unless I misunderstood the body was moved three days ago. Not sure if I'm being dumb, this is a plot hole, or if this is supposed to be setting up some weird twist.

Yeah I thought the same, like why the hell are they talking like Komeji died recently? And how do bloodstains still react to Luminol after 6 years? There better be an explanation for this.

Hm not sure how I feel about it so far. Spoilers:

Got to Ryuki's route in the first split and then did Chikara's, Tokiko's and just got to Komeji's Somnium. The story doesn't seem to be going anywhere. The Somniums are actual puzzles now instead of random guessing which is great. But they kind of feel less creative? Every character shows up in their own dream and a predictable location (Lab, Naix building, amusement park). And Lien is an annoying creep. Then again I didn't exactly love the first game until everything came together. Also it's Ryuki telling his story from 6 years ago, so how and when will there be another split going forward?

Just some thoughts, please don't reply to this post.

It's good enough for me that Kaguya was ever in #1, even without trolls the score is always going to go down with time.
