Space Invaders. At least for action games.

  • You against against the CPU in multiple waves. Before it, action games AFAIK were one round affairs with a timer that marked the end of the game whether you won or not.
  • High Score system
  • Life system
  • Difficulty progression

I'd probably buy it if I find it in the wild (which is most likely never, but the intention is there). I don't even have a Switch but I'd do it for the packaging alone which looks cool.

Huh, FF3j is tops for me along with 5. I wouldn't ever put any of the NES games at the bottom; they're one of the few FFs, nay, games, I actually replay all the way through every other year or so.
